You cannot add any extra sprites unless you export the dat_(level).narc to another clean rom. The game loads from there. Btw download play doesn't work from a DS lite to a DSi or DSi to DS lite unless you use r116 (Which isn't working for me very well) ahh damn. well i hacked a rom a while ago and made a massive multiplayer level. My friend has an R4 and i have an R4iGold. i put the hacked rom and both of the R4's and we could play. so there is no way of me playing a hacked level with a DS and a DSi?(Through DS download play anyway) PS: whats that r116 you were talking about?

	sometimes when i edit levels, i go to play them and there is no mario head when im selecting the rom its just all messed up and glitchy and so is the name. And there are no cheats they are just gone. Is it because i put too many objects in the one level? sorry if this question has been asked before.

	yeah i couldnt really follow it properly. im no good at any of that coding and hex stuff. a few ppl said that 5.2 editing multiplayer works perfectly. could be the flashcard but i think its the editor. they might bring out a newer editor soon i hope.

2 questions: 1. Can someone please PLEASE help me with hex editing a rom? i was looking at earlier and Boris u said you would post a video on how to hex edit the multiplayer places? Please do that it would be great because i'm having trouble with the method Chicken Bones posted. 2. how can hex editing mess up a rom? i heard it can mess it up. sorry but im having alot of trouble with multiplayer editing. i did make a ds download play map before . only a few mega mushrooms blocks as a test, but nothing much. this is very difficult. i cant do the method and the r116 dooesnt work. 	could somebody help me with this step? Step 10: Copy your entire File Allocation Table (where we edited in step 9). Go to offset 0x2310F4 in your rom. PASTE WRITE your new File Allocation Table. Save your Rom. i dont know how to do this step.

oh and for this step. Step 8: Copy all of the data from the narc file (Dat_Ice.narc). PASTE WRITE the data you copied at offset 1 in the rom. (make sure you paste write not paste insert. When you paste write you overwrite data but when you insert you shift all the data below you foward and your rom becomes bigger. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE) do i open the narc_(level) with HxD? to copy all the data?
