Definitely. Been there, done that. ![]() But, I still haven't really managed to get my browser set up to enter Japanese correctly for Jul, without seeming to break something else (other Japanese text/sites), so I can't enter Japanese into a reply box at the moment, anyway. ![]() |

| For viewing graphics in a ROM, is there anything other than yy-chr and Tile Molester/Pro that works decently/about as well? I have yy-chr, but it takes a bit of getting used to... and TMP, though I don't have a JRE installed on this system at the moment, and I don't feel like installing one just for TMP. |

| Hmm. Apparently, the version of YY-CHR I have is 0.97 beta 31 (if I remember the beta number correctly). I can't remember if I grabbed it from romhacking.net or Zophar's, though. Probably Zophar's, so I'll check romhacking. Is the .NET version more recent (at least, in theory)? I'll probably want to check DS games, too - I don't know if the above programs handle DS games well enough (or at all), and I recall someone suggesting a different program on a talk page somewhere on TCRF... a program beginning with "Ta" ("Tap-"?). Unfortunately, that's all I recall. ![]() |

Hmm. So, yeah, maybe they did intend to show the castle post-Wario without the cloud (or maybe they'd wanted to show Wario taking over in the intro, or a game demo cinema, or something like that). Would not including the tiles cut down on memory usage, or rendering time, all that much? ![]() The (TCRF) article may potentially be a slight bit vague about it, though (with the second sentence):

| Is the link to Jul supposed to show in the Main menu box for every page on the wiki? For some reason, it's currently not appearing for me on any Special: page. I thought I'd recalled jumping to the forum a few times from RecentChanges, for one. |

Yes, it's do/oko(ru)/ika(ru)/ika(ri), for anger/wrath/rage, or becoming angry. In this case, it's probably used to indicate being an actual state of 'rage.' ![]() |

| Don't most of those (if not all) just basically copy what's being played, rather than rip the actual sound/music data from within the game? (Or, at least, that's the way it was the last time I looked into what the emulators could do with VGM/GYM...) |

| Would there happen to be any model viewers for Mac OS X systems? Yes, I'm aware I can get them for Windows and Linux; I'm trying to have tools set up across all my systems (Windows, Linux, Mac), so that I don't have to switch computers just to examine games in depth. (Or install a VM, dual-boot, or use Wine. ) |

| ...and don't forget, anyone with access to the Japanese version would be able to see what all of the debug menu entries actually are, without the English version's renaming everything to "no need to translate." (Bleah.) |

Well, here's the question I asked about it in 2010. Xkeeper's reply at the time was about the same as the general opinion in this thread - we probably shouldn't be worried about it. I was just semi-concerned someone out there might make a big gripe about it to someone, like the webhosts. Then again, I am paranoid. ;Kung Fu Man: you might want to avoid making a lot of "small" edits, though. Some don't like it when the Recent Changes log fills up with several edits to one page. You can use the Preview button or the Sandbox to check your page, if you want. |

| I don't know... I thought Seed/Destiny were okay, somewhat, though I'll admit I haven't watched too much of either of them. And it's been years since I watched F-91, so... damn it, now I'm going to have to pull out the tapes and watch it again. Thanks a lot, Afti. And 0080 and 0083, too. Nobody tell me I need to re-watch Char's Counterattack, please. ![]() (And, I'll probably have to actually, finally get around to watching Shin Mazinger, too.) Well, I've been re-watching Macross, lately (though I haven't felt like pulling out Love: Do You Remember, just yet (OR Clash of the Bionoids, for no sane reason)). Judges, does that count? |

You don't have to start from the very beginning. You could try 0083 and/or 0080, for a start.I'll admit that another reason I'm watching Macross is because I needed an excuse to actually watch the Southern Cross+Mospeada ADV box set I picked up... damn, can't remember how long ago it was, but it wasn't long after its release. ...then I remembered, I'm supposed to be getting around to rewatching Bubblegum Crisis, too. ![]() |

| Hm? "Bokurano" (bokura no/ぼくらの ) basically means "Our"/"Ours." (Let me know if you can see the hiragana above, properly, rather than an extended ASCII mess; I thought I'd test and see if the setup I'm on sends Japanese to Jul correctly.) Bah. Why bother with 1:100 models. I'm trying to get a copy of the 1:1-scale Gundam for my front yard. ![]() (If anyone reading this isn't sure what I'm talking about, a couple links I found with a quick search (since I don't remember offhand which of the Japanese pages I have bookmarked have pictures of it): GUNDAM GUY: 1/1 Scale Gundam Statue Will Be On Display @ Odaiba (Japan) in Spring 2012 1/1 scale GUNDAM in Shizuoka, Japan on Vimeo) |

I still had to test and make sure everyone other than me could see it correctly. That, and I'm on a different system than the last time I tested; this one seems to handle everything better. |

| Isn't that the same SUPER that may now be installing things in questionable ways? I know they do... something to prevent you from running a previous version, if you install a new version and want to revert, for whatever reason, anyway. Why not use something like XMedia Recode (which has a portable version), or other converters like it? |
