YK: Oh. Well, um... never mind. ![]() Too bad there aren't any map editors for PS3 at the moment... I wonder if any of those 'unused' corridors actually do have defined door/passage data at any point in the game. Also, I'd have to wonder if, if PS4 was indeed developed for the MegaCD first, there were any builds created for it. Probably never see any, though. ![]() |

I'll probably go see SW/ESW/RotJ again, just like I did with the previous 'updated' versions... but I'm still glad I have the Limited Edition DVDs with the original versions on them. ![]() (...waiting for the technology that actually projects the movie in 3D around you (not interactive, though...). Probably be fun, with the original trilogy. )I didn't think the telnet version ever went away, but I keep forgetting the command. You could always try using VLC to view the DVDs in ASCII mode, too, I suppose. ![]() |

| Actually, MML is supposed to fit somewhere in the actual MM timeline, rather than be an AU, though I don't remember exactly where. I think it was probably supposed to be placed in the future somewhere after the ZX games. I never did get around to buying MML1... ![]() |

Yeah, it felt a bit like an AU to me, too. Such as how it's quite convenient there are two characters named Rockman/Mega Man and Roll, working together, in the future... (It's starting to remind me of some of the 'various' Link origin stories...) |

| Didn't they (supposedly try to) justify everything by shoving MML so far into the future that practically anything could have happened to change the world... maybe even multiple times? (Have to find that timeline, again...) For me, I just felt a vague disconnect when playing MML2. Not that I thought it was bad - but I'll admit it was the first 3D Mega Man game I'd played, so maybe, it was unavoidable. (Though, I don't think I had the same sense when I first played Mario 64... Sonic Adventure, perhaps.) |

It's those motorized trays. I think one of the earliest CD drives I had didn't have a motorized tray, and you could easily just pop the tray out at any time. These days, they seem to go to great lengths to warn you that not using the normal methods to eject or insert the tray could possibly damage the internals, or something. (Not that my newest tower makes it easy to do it the 'proper' way, oh no...)Though, these days it's relatively cheap to buy a replacement drive. I guess the flip side of that is the drives also tend to be made more cheaply... certainly seems that way with a large number of DVD players. ![]() Oh, and it's also always fun when the drive is software-locked. |

| Hmm... is it just me, or have all userboxes suddenly gained a trailing ">"? (Or is that a newline+">"?) Haven't tried looking at them with any other styles (just tried viewing them while signed in and not), though. |

I know of the shells that replaced Nethack's ASCII representations with simple color graphics (still text-mode? Only used it once or so, many years ago, so all I have is a vague memory of the graphics), but I think I remember hearing once or so - also a long, long time ago - about someone attempting to have the Nethack/Rogue/etc. playing fields rendered in real-time 3D (but still ASCII ). Did anything like that ever happen?(proceeds to die many snarky deaths in Nethack...) |

I thought Voyager was okay, but I don't really feel like watching most of the episodes, again. A little less on both counts with Enterprise (have to love thinly-disguised attempts at retconning )The one I do want to watch most of all is, of course, Deep Space Nine. Except it's almost never shown on TV, so I'm probably going to have to buy all of the expensive box sets. A local station (the one on which TNG and DS9 originally aired on, in fact) seems to delight in suddenly running DS9 at an obscure time, without telling anyone, on Saturday or Sunday, for a week or two. Then, nothing. TNG, they'll promote left and right and run it almost every day (which they're doing). DS9? No. ![]() (Oh, and they'll do the same for the edited TOS episodes, too. Can't forget that.) |

What's it about, basically? I don't think I've really seen anyone attempt to describe that. ![]() |

| Hmm. What little talk I've seen about it on forums seemed to be implying it was an anime version of South Park. :/ |

I'll watch TNG and TOS if there's absolutely nothing else to watch, but that's mainly because I've seen almost all the episodes many, many times. :| DS9 doesn't rerun all that often... ![]() I couldn't really get into Enterprise, no matter how many times I tried. Even the last two episodes. ![]() |

I'll most likely be roped into spending the entire evening unable to leave the front door/porch area, handing out candy and wondering whether or not the candy's cheap enough (quality and price) that I should try to save some. ![]() |

Heh - I could miss a handful of episodes, return and not feel like I'd missed something. ![]() I think in some cases, they were trying to run parallels with Voyager for aspects/plotlines of the characters. But, yeah, none of them really seemed to stand out, to me, or were mostly just template/cookie-cutter characters. |

| I suppose this question should probably be asked... might as well be asked by the village idiot. :| I'll make it clear up front that I don't have any problems with any of the material on the wiki, but there are some things you know someone out there might have issues with, like the 'nude' Phantasy Star 4 enemies, or the swears in other games' content. Should there be some sort of disclaimer on the front page of the wiki, basically an 'enter at your own risk,' and that the content is presented exactly as it is in the games; we're not going to sanitize it, etc.? Or maybe there should be a template that places a notice at the top of pages that need it, saying 'scroll down at your own risk.' Maybe one should be created for anti-spoiler purposes...I'll hide from the pitchfork-wielding mob in my armored bunker, now. ![]() |

Yeah, I've got the stacks of magazines for the C64, with all those programs you have to type in. Including the ones that gave you a machine-language checksum program to try to help you make sure you're typing them in, correctly. ![]() Never really did get around to typing in that one miles-long program that was supposedly a fully-featured paint program... |
