| Regarding total winnings... it seems that my top winners list and Ketsuban's summary(ies) added things up differently, so I'm going to list what I will count towards total winnings, and they may differ from official rules...
What will count: *Items up for bids. **Bonus $500 for a perfect bid. *Anything won from pricing games. For "all or nothing" games, this is pretty vanilla. For others, it's less clear cut. This is what will count from pricing games where it's possible to win something, but not necessarily everything. (Note: Not every pricing game may well end up being *played*, but here's everything anyhow.) **Any Number: Only the prize you win is counted, be it the car, the small prize, or the piggy bank. If you win the car, you do not get the other prizes. **Barker's Markers: If you win, and still have the $500 slip, you'll win that and it will count towards your winnings. **Buy or Sell: Later rules apply, in that if you win the game, you'll receive a cash bonus equal to how much money you saved over the course of the game. **Check Game: If you win, you'll receive a cash bonus equal to the check you wrote. **Clock Game: If you only get the first prize correct, it will still be counted. The $1,000 bonus for getting both is still in effect. **Gas Money: You can quit with the cash at any time, and it will be counted towards your winnings. **Give or Keep: Per standards, small prizes you choose to "Keep" will be won and counted towards your total regardless of whether the game itself is won or lost. **Golden Road: If the game is lost, any prizes you may have won will still be counted. **Grand Game: For the money to be counted, you either have to lose at $1, $10, or $100, quit with $1,000, or win the $10,000. **Hole in One: The $500 bonus for putting the products in the correct order applies and is counted towards your overall winnings. **It's in the Bag: You can quit with the cash at any time. A loss at any point gets you nothing. **Let 'em Roll: You can quit with any cash you rolled at any time. If the car is won, obviously, no cash will be. **Lucky Seven: If you win the game with $2 or more, any money above the $1 you use to buy the car will be counted towards your winnings. **Master Key: Unsurprisingly, any prizes whose locks you open will be counted. **Money Game: Any incorrect guesses will earn you money, which will be counted whether the game is ultimately won or lost. **More or Less: Same linear progression as Golden Road: If the game is lost, you keep any prizes you may have won. **Pay the Rent: You can quit with the cash whenever you please. A loss gets you nothing. **Pass the Buck: Whatever you had when you quit/ended the game will be counted, be it cash or the car. **Race Game: Any prizes you have correct at the end will be counted. **Rat Race: Same as Master Key, basically: You keep what you win. **Shell Game: The $500 bonus for winning the game perfectly, *and* picking the correct shell the ball is under applies. **Spelling Bee: Cash will only be counted if you quit the game early. **Step Up: You can quit at any time with the cash/prizes you've won. A loss gets you nothing. **Temptation: If you quit with the prizes, they will be counted towards your winnings. **Ten Chances: Any prizes you correctly guessed the price for. **Triple Play: As always, you can't win one car, you can't win two cars, you have to win all three cars. *Any small prizes used in pricing games that you "win". (See above for special circumstances) *Money won in the Showcase Showdown. *Prizes won in the Showcase. What is *not* counted: *Grocery products used in pricing games. *Small prizes that are not won/in play somehow. *Change used in games such as Pocket Change and the Showcase Showdown. *Consolation prizes (not that we give any away in this show ) |
