When I was little my mom would always play hip-hop over the radio while bringing me to school, and when my dad was in the car we'd always listen to rock. I never really cared what genre was on back them, just that it was playing. My grandma was the custodian to the church next door; she'd let me in whenever she would go to clean she'd let me basically bang on the piano with hands ( She didn't mind; of course, she was losing her hearing to old age. )

Years later I began broadening my horizons a little more. I'd been given an iPod which let me bring my favorite songs with me wherever I went. I was soon listening to rock on a near daily basis.

Since then I've gained a few favorite bands ( Pink Floyd, Chicago, et al. ) in addition to listening to classical music, jazz, techno, and maybe a rap song here and there. I never got into rap.

...and the concessions are over $9000.

Seriously, it's a wonder why they even sell them, let alone why people buy them.

It's supposed to be a replica of the cake from the game "Portal." It's not exact, though. For one, I didn't have a candle on me when I baked this thing; and second, I don't like coconut icing (which the recipe asked for.)

Tasted amazing

Yes, but I hope to make a more improved version in the future. The recipe calls for massive amounts of sugar, and if you eat too much you'll get sick :<

It'd be Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but without a plot.

I could see this ushering in a new age of privacy in communication; after all, if it can skip over matter, it can avoid any "middle man" who may be listening.

Exciting!

If a friend makes a message board, I'll typically post on it for a while. I've been forum hoping lately. Hopefully I'll stay a bit longer at this place, though .

For creating encrypted file containers, encrypting partitions, and other means of protecting valuable files from people, I use TrueCrypt. It's very easy to use and it's free. Works on Linux, Mac, and Windows.

After going every other year, for the past 8 years to Disney World, I can honestly say that I've still not yet conquered the Disney landscape.) One week is not enough to enjoy everything, even if you plan on going back again thinking it might (It isn't; trust me.)

Out of all the parks, Epcot and Magic Kingdom really take the cake with fireworks displays and lazer-lighting awesomeness at the end of the day, and if you haven't seen either of those yet (or haven't even been to the parks,) go nao while you still can! It will be worth the cost.

Someone told me there was a special pass to get into the parks very early in the morning, when practically no one went (I can't confirm this though.)

There's water parks too, but we don't usually go to those.

I couple years ago I went to whatever big waterpark they had. It's a lot of fun; a bunch of slides and what not . Of course when I went the entire park had to be shut down, someone had a heart-attack in the wave pool and nearly drowned .

Whipped-Cream chocolate icing . I had the idea to do a combination of vanilla and chocolate, but at the time I had already added the second layer to it.
