Another question!
I edited all the "END-CASTLE-FILES" in the poligon_unit folder.
And edited the nohara tileset
i deleted all and imported my end castle tileset.
But when I play my level, the endcastele doesn't work!
i don't go behind it and don't activate the end flag (what comes out of the end castle)
i go only through the castle and go out of the screen!
The level crashs now.
(The objects of the poligon unit folder are not there)
And yes, i've added the tile behavior to the castle!

And I made my castle object (from my new end castle) numbers the same object numbers as the old one's.

Hmmm....
You said you made the objects the same number, but did you do the same with the map16 tiles?

If not, that's probably the problem. The game relies on map16 tile numbers for displaying the overlays.

Hello guys,
I have made a hack named "Yellow Super Mario Bros."
Why I named it "Yellow Super Mario Bros"?
Just because I needed a name for the hack

I like changing the look of textures, so I coloured some of them, for example the fireball.
I want to edit all the levels in the game and change many of the textures!

Levels already done:

1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-Tower, 1-4, 1-5, 1-A, 1-Castle
2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-A, 2-4, 2-Tower, 2-5, 2-6, 2-Castle
3-1, 3-2, 3-B,

just delete all in the tileset you want to overwrite and then import the new one!
in my hack i did that often and it always worked!

Two Questions:
1. How to find offset 0x2310F4 in HxD?
If I search that offset, HxD tells me, that this offset does not exist!
Tried in USA-Roms and Europe-Roms!
2. If I want to play my levels only with multicart, may I add sprites?
Use the MULTIPLAYER NARC Patch in 5.2.

oh...
didn't know that that only works in 5.2...
just download the nsmb editor 5.2 with tortoise svn and then compile the files...
there you should find the butten delete all!

Where is the suitable .ncl file for the title_screen stored at?

i have all the things installed but NSMBe 5.2

then make a checkout with tortoise svn (rightclick on a folder and push on the button "svn checkout")
check out from: "http://nsmb-editor.googlecode.com/svn/trunk"
then select NOT head revision, select r93 and push "checkout"
then download visual studio 2008 and install it.
Open the folder, in wich you have made the check out and then open NSMBe4.sln with visual studio
Then just push F6...
then go inside the check out-folder, then go there:
NSMBe4/bin/Release/
copy all the files inside the "Release"-folder and do them to the place you want nsmb editor 5.2 to be saved at.
open NSMBe5 and you are finished...
now you should have 5.2 :-)

Right now HEAD revision compiles fine. It's ok to select head revision. It will have more features

i have tested the new beta...
it is really buggy!
for example the mini map in the left downl corner of the editor...it hides some options, for example the path editing options!
And the path editing is really buggy too!
because of that, I would take the r93!

how to use the change file butten in the bg option.
read already the description, but I still don't know how to use it...
what number I must type inside the "change file"-box?
If I change an empty bg and import an bg to the bg i have just pushed "change file" and I use that bg in a level, the game crashs if i start the level!
