From what file are you speaking?
Just edit a level, go to the level configuration ---> Graphics ---> Choose a BG ---> Click Export ---> Edit the BG with Photoshop or Gimp 2 ---> Import it again

That's all.

It is possible. probably you corrupted your level. If I remember correctly, You had the same problem before, so you sent me your level^^
I solved the problem by remaking the area 3 (replacing it with another level)

I have looked through your "WARP-DOESN'T-WORK"-Levels, and searched what they have together.
I have found the sprite "0" (Beta Level Sprite) in both of your levels. It let's the area crash immediately! Delete the sprite "0" and then it should work. Also the sprites 1-9 let the level crash. Better you avoid these unuseful sprites

Another Tip: Delete all in an area, what hasn't anything to do with the level. For example, The object "0" (Beta Flagpole) is very often in your areas outside of a view. Delete all of them to get a better view of the level

I tried it our.
It all works fine
Try to import it into a different BG-Number. If it doesn't work then either, post, what you have been doing exactly.
BTW: Make sure, you tried to import a "png"-File

But then, the tiles dont look that good, than if you import them with the tileset editor

I have got a question (its not related with nsmb DS, but i dont know, where else I could ask )
I dont have a Wii. So I want to play nsmb wii on an emulator on my PC.
QUESTIONS:
1) What Emulator should I use?
2) What image or file should I download to run NSMB Wii.? Is it an ".iso"-file, or a ".bin"-file? Or still an other file? O.o
3) Where can I find the newest NSMB Wii. Editor? (I can find it myself, but I am a bit lazy) I want to find it, because I need some graphics of it for nsmb DS^^ "MFGG" doesnt have much nsmb wii tilesets etc.

You guys would help me out a lot, if you answer these qustions

after a long time, i have worked on the hack again
Now there are animated 3d waterfalls in ray's and mine hack:
