Woohoo, I'm not the only one. Sucks when people notice at work. They give me a weird look.

I confess as well. I also pick at my scabs, which is bad because then they never heal Whenever I catch myself doing it I try to stop but... meh. I find I tend to do it more often when I'm stressed out.

I'm also told that I yawn whenever I feel uncomfortable. I guess I do, because when people point it out, I normally am feeling a little uneasy.

Meh, I don't really care too much.

It would be annoying if it interfered with the post flow though (between posts), but I could deal with it.

When I used to have Progress Through Processors on my computer, I'd leave it up all night so it could do work.

I've killed that program now, so I really don't need to keep it on constantly.

I think it's a nice gesture... Does anyone else think that?

I mean, I get people's concerns about people going crazy and it getting blown out of proportion, but I believe that it's good to see Obama recognizing that LGBT people are deserving of the same treatment everyone else gets.

I have a few friends who were treated poorly because of their orientation, and I'm glad that Obama is giving them an "official" month to celebrate who they are. Hopefully people will be more tolerant during this month, but who knows?

I guess we'll see whether this was a good or bad idea soon...

Seriously. They won't stop feeding his habit because they're afraid of a temper tantrum? If they were to stop buying him cigarettes, they could use all of that money to, I don't know, buy everyone a car and then send them all to college.

This seems like an extraordinarily expensive pacifier.

FP, don't worry, I was there to protect her. OMG........so many dicks.

Wait, I thought I was protecting you... blind leading the blind, I guess.

At any rate, yesterday we went to Harvard Square (or Havahd Square) and did some shopping. After dinner, myself, Yokai-chan, and 3 others drove to a playground at an elementary school. We were playing 21, and some of the numbers had fairly loud phrases (loud laughing, loud meowing, loud singing). Then, one person in the group started freaking out.
TD: Oh my God, that car is a cop car.
Rest of us: Naw, you're just freaking out.
TD: Yeah, it is a cop car; look, it's got black and white.
Rest of us: Naw, it-- HOLY SHIT Oh my God, you're right!
At this point in time, the car turns down the school's driveway. We're sitting on the playground.
Group: What do we do?
I don't know, just be quiet!
Should we go down there?
No, just stay here.
Someone must have called us in.
Yeah, we were probably being too loud.
Well, we aren't doing anything illegal.
Yeah, the worst he can do is tell us to leave.

At this point in time, the cop is slowly driving through the parking lot. He has an absurdly bright light he's shining around. First he inspects the car. Then he takes the light and sweeps it across the field. The slide and other parts of the playground block most of his light, but some of it still falls on us.
Do you think he saw us?
It doesn't matter now. We'll just wait and see if he comes over or not.
It's going to be fun to read about this in the Concord Police Log.
Heh. Sure.
Is he going away?
I think so. Wait, why is he just sitting at the stop sign?
I don't know. Maybe this is where he likes to chill on Sunday nights?

Eventually he drives off. We decide to continue playing 21, except we are much quieter about it.

And today! Memorial day! Concord!
*Kaboom!* WTF? Was that a cannon? Oh, Memorial Day. Yep, sure was.

Nothing says "Good morning" like cannons firing!

To finish off day 3 in the good old MA, I and my buddies roasted marshmallows. We determined that the best sticks were long, straight, and hard. Flimsy, short, and bent sticks don't do anything for us. After they were done being used, they were covered with sticky white goop. We have too much fun together sometimes.

I kinda destroyed the coal pit... but that's 'cuz the grill had an upturned flower pot on the bottom with a chunk of ceramic on top. I accidentally unbalanced said chunk of ceramic with my stick, causing the coals to scatter around the flower pot. In a short while, they were too cold to do much roasting. The stupid fire starters didn't do anything to help. All they did was smoke. We were about done then anyways. We could smell that a skunk was about, and we didn't really feel like encountering it.

But, eh, it was fun time overall. Especially the discussion about sticks

That thing is scary. It looks like it took out part of a building, too.

Interesting how it's almost perfectly circular.

My sister got some app for her iPod that lets her listen to police radio conversations (apparently doing so is legal, so long as the information isn't used to help commit a crime). At any rate, one of the code numbers was 69. She couldn't stop giggling, and once she told me what was so funny, I would crack up every time she started laughing.

It's interesting that, so far, it's been hotter and muggier up in Massachusetts than down in Virginia. Although the sun is more intense in Virginia than up here, so I guess it's cooler here in direct sunlight.

Yesterday was windy and then stormy. At first I wanted to fly a kite, but then scrapped that plan once thunder rumbles started.

Today, we went to White Pond. There were lotsa fishies, which freaked out a couple people. I think I burned a little... The water was freezing, so we didn't do very much swimming. After dinner, we watched "I Love You, Man." Good movie.

I am having a freaking blast up here. Makes me sorry that I haven't reached out to make friends down in Virginia.
