THAT is a WONDERFUL idea. Much more likely to get partial credit than bitching about how I can't do it as my answer

Well, they didn't say it was mandatory... or is this one of those "very important"/ "recommended"/ "voluntary" things?

Ok, so I'm in England, where the drinking age is 18. I have had enough where I've had more than I've ever had before. So, I figured I'd make a shitposting thread. Ask anything. I will give a 100% honest answer.

Also, UK keyboards (such as the one I'm using) have a different key layout than US ones. I'm not drunk enough where I don't fix the typoes, but I might get there later.

Good God, tonight was Bad Decisions Night.

Do people have trouble understanding you because of accent/vocabulary differences?

Sometimes. When I asked for a "water" at the bar, the bartender was like "Wot?" Then I asked for a "Woter" and he was like "Ok, sure!"

But when I asked for a "Woter" tonight, the first guy understood me, but the second girl was like "A wot?" "A water." "Ok!"

I think I've had bigger problems understanding them rather than vice versa.

As of tonight, none, actually. I called FP while I was pregaming, letting him know I found a group of people who were going out, but not since I've gotten drunk.

Also, it turns out that I CAN drink an entire thing of "Irish Meadow" (Bailey's with white wine, apparently) and still be able to type ok. At least, I THINK I'm typing ok.

I don't get DRUNK drunk too often (normally just tipsy: no more than 4-5 drinks in a night). However, tonight I've had significantly more than that

Also, I guess the longest period I've been drunk has been... dunno. Whatever the time frame between sunset (don't drink before, usually) and me going to sleep is (~4 AM was the latest) (7 hours max). I have yet to have a hangover (would that even still qualify as being drunk?), but I might have one in the morning That's the problem with one not having reached one's limit's yet Dunno when I'm going to get hit by "Dammit-had-too-much" syndrome.

Part of making this thread was so I'd remember what I did tonight. You know. Just in case

Stupid things... none yet, exactly. The stupidest would be "Pantsless-o'clock," an upgrade from "Shirtless-o'clock." But since I don't regret it, and since nothing bad came from it, was it really a stupid thing?

Actually, stupid things would be the accidental insults I make sometimes. Like, "Don't swing too hard on the stripper pole. It came down earlier when someone else heavy swung too hard on it" and other such "Oops, that wasn't nice to say, now that I've thought about it" things.

Never have been drunk driving. Don't have a car at college, and my mother would consider herself as a failure as a parent if she knew I was drinking (she isn't; she's the best mom I could ever ask for and even better. Minus the anti-drinking thing, but whatever. Still the best).

Edit: I'll have to check the schedule for when the 3 day weekend is. I think this weekend we have Sunday off, and then it's next weekend (or maybe the week after that) that we have the 3 day weekend. My roomie is probably asleep right now, so I'll let you know tomorrow in the morning when I'm sober (and hopefully not plagued with a hangover).

PS- I hear birds chirping now. Hopefully they're just stupid birds

Double-edit: I'll probably need to spend this Sunday/ day off working on my presentation for Wednesday. I am obviously not drunk enough, as I am able to still remember these things

That's actually perfect. Next week, I'll have 7/8 exams done, so no revision and the week after I'm off for the full week

W00t! Now only the logistics for me getting out there (which I'm sure I can figure out. Tomorrow. Sober. Not now.) remain!

Also, the bottle is officially done. I can't believe I actually drank it all. 700 mL (I think. It says "70 dl," which I take to mean 70 deci-liters, meaning 700 milli-liters, or 0.7 liters) at 14.5%. A couple of swigs were taken by a hotel-mate (I offered, she had had a rough night (roomie issues (I empathize))), but I also had to TWO yeger-bombs at the club (or jeger-bombs. IDK about the spelling).

Tonight has been Limit-Pushing, Make-Bad-Decisions Night.

The birds stopped chirping for a bit, but are now chirping again.

ALSO, anyone else in the UK I should visit?

Also also, I realized that yeger-bombs are made with energy drink. I might be more drunk than I realize right now because of that. I think I'll be ok. I've been drinking lots of water, plus I've been munching

I know, though, that if I lay down, Imma pass right out

Edit: spelling.

I feel as though I'm not getting much drunker, compared to earlier when I essentially did 3 (small-ish) glasses of whatever I drank. However, as my last post required a spelling edit, I would say I'm still as drunk as ever. I'm a little hesitant to go to sleep right now, for, although I'm sleepy, I would like sobering up a bit first. Just to make sure I don't have a hangover tomorrow. At any rate, to answer your question more directly, I am DEFINITELY more drunk than sober. My burp just told me I still probably have alcohol in my stomach, so I will probably get a bit drunker, then my BAC will slowly decline.

So... any funny or embarrasing sex story involving him?

(Though you'd probably have to be can't-spell-crap drunk. And perhaps ask for permission. I mean, I'd think he'd get upset with that sort of stuff being posted in a main forum and all. Or maybe you could try and see.)

I specifically warned him that I would be drunk-shit-posting tonight, and that if I started taking it too far, he should call me and tell me to stop. Which I would probably do. Maybe.

So I'll give it 5-10 minutes (enough time to read a few more posts I missed during my absence on the board-- you guys were busy while I was gone). No phone call means story time!

Edit: Also, try-and-see is an alternative way of seeing whether or not he'd get upset. Like I said though, he had fair warning, and as such, I feel free to post whatever, so long as he doesn't say otherwise during the aforementioned time frame

Trial and Error is my guess.

I'm in Firefox with spellchecker enabled. Hence, the to-instead-of-two error slipped by me. I logged in because I was veeerrrry careful when I did so. Also, ha-ha CB. Ha. Ha.

Also, my bf hasn't told me otherwise, so here comes a very concise summary of many of our funtimes:

I bondage

Seriously, though. I feel that by being bonded (or whatever the term is), you are saying to your partner "I completely trust you." You're trusting them to not hurt you (physically, emotionally, mentally, etc.), you're trusting them to listen to you (if it's necessary), and you're also trusting them to pleasure you and not leave you there on verge of climax

Anyhoo, since it is now light out outside, and there are even more birds chirping, I think now is an opportune time to go sleep. If I get drunk as a skunk in a bunk again, I will tell more stories, perhaps with more detail. If, that is, well... stuff. I have to see how people (including myself) react to this.

Feel free to post more questions. You might not get 100% direct/ true response, but I'll still respond.

What's the scariest thing that has ever happened to you?

Grandma lost us at Disney World. She was supposed to meet us at the end of a line (we had Fast Track tickets that someone gave us). When we got off the ride, she was nowhere to be seen. My sister and I searched everywhere. When we definitely couldn't find her, we then called my parents. We then re-dialed, as they didn't pick up, and then repeated this upwards of a dozen times. Eventually we went up to a park employee and said "We lost our grandma..." and then both of us promptly burst into tears.

Our dad finally got one of our tearful messages (one was enough for him to come get us; he didn't need the other half-dozen or so). He told us to stay exactly where we were. At that point, we were in some area specifically made for lost kids (food, tv, games, coloring books, etc). Then grandma came and found us and tried to take us: "Alright, let's go back to the hotel now." "No. Daddy told us to stay. Right. Here."

Then, all hell broke loose back at the hotel, where my mom had her protective maternal instincts set to "MAX" (her babies were scared and helpless and etc). I remember her being pissed as hell at grandma, but I don't remember her yelling at her (as mom claims). Maybe I repressed it or something. I dunno.

So, yeah. Disney World isn't that fun when you've lost your adult. In fact, it's quite scary.

Also, more recently, I had to send in my final paper via email to my philosophy professor. I had pulled an all-nighter, and so wasn't in the most reliable state. A couple of day later, I was going through my email and found the message in the drafts folder; it was entirely possible that I thought I sent it, but didn't actually do that. Cue absolute fear and terror (don't worry, he had gotten it. My email was just messing with me ).
