Well, whatever is here hasn't set anyone on guard duty. Either they don't have anything to hide, don't mind us coming, or are powerful enough to not fear us. Let's go in

Go with the flow; all rivers lead to an ocean (and a shoreline, which will have trading ports at some point)

The comments there are... wow
![]() I'm pretty sure the article was written with sarcasm, but I get the feeling that the people writing the comments believe wholeheartedly in what they're saying ![]() Edit: Some people seem sarcastic... I think? My brain is fried today ![]() -------------------- |

I still have fireworks left over from the 4th of July. I was saving them for when my sister came back from camp, but then she almost immediately had to leave for another camp. I'm thinking I should just set them off now
![]() I mean, they expire at some point, right? -------------------- |

Sometimes vets/ doctors ring up expensive procedures when they aren't exactly necessary, especially if business is slow. That may or may not be the case here, but I kinda feel that a vet should be able to do a routine check-up-and-shots without sedating the animal (except if it has a feral/ wild background/ genetic makeup). I mean, that's one of the things they get taught at vet school, right? How to handle Fluffy when he is resisting the thing taking his temperature?

Side note: one Halloween I ate a snack-sized bag of Fritos, a medium sized bag of Cracker Jacks, and at least a pound of candy. Probably closer to a pound and a half. Hyperactivity ensued And it was awesome.I still eat like that sometimes Probably not good for my body, but in a couple of years, doing that will make me morbidly obese. I'm going to enjoy doing it without gaining too much weight while I can.-------------------- |

With something that has a 40% chance of occurring, it can be even more legitimate, if you know what I mean. I personally only know one unstable/angry person when he gets drunk, and unfortunately, he is always somewhere between buzzed and completely gone. He's actually really nice when he's only buzzed, but if he goes beyond that, I make sure to either be in a different room or next to one of the big guys (one never drinks and is big enough to take him, another works as both a bouncer and a boxer, and one is big enough that he could eat the other two and still have room for dessert).
Other than that, most everyone else I know is a happy/excited drunk ![]() I, having never had alcohol aside from wine at church (don't need it to have fun), don't know what kind of a drunk I would be. ![]() I would probably end up being a happy/slut drunk. -------------------- |

If you're going to be hateful, don't use religion as an excuse. I would probably be more respectful of a person who says "I'm a bigot and proud of it and will never change" than a person who says "I'm doing it because the Bible tells me so." Not that the Bible actually even says "be racist." You can take any passage and twist the meaning around so much that its new warped state says something wretched like that. Unfortunately, people do this far too often. -------------------- |

Originally posted by Zero One I loved midterms/ finals for this reason. We would have 1.5 to 2 hours for the test, an hour break after that (for people who got extended time), then an hour for lunch, and then another 1.5 to 2 hour testing time. Walking to the center of town took less than 15 minutes. If someone had a car, that was even better. There were a bunch of different places to eat: Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, New London Pizza, Sorrentos, Chang Anns (Chinese food). If you felt like walking another five minutes or so, you could get to the nearby Costco or another couple of restaurants. Having no test in the afternoon was the best. Take morning exam, go to lunch, goof off, get back to the buses. I often found finals week to be the least stressful. Maybe that's because the previous week was "all major projects and papers and, for whatever reason, tests due" week. -------------------- |
