Good to hear that the coaching is working for you Bitmap
![]() I hear that, for some people, it can be nearly impossible to "cure" a stutter or other speech impediment. I'm glad you've found a good instructor/ technique. With enough practice, you'll be able to implement them without even thinking ![]() Side note: I always thought it would be cool to learn ventriloquism. ![]() -------------------- |

![]() I kinda hope that someone is going to do a more in-depth news report of this. It would be interesting. I mean, WHY? A puppy? A bulldozer? How did the bikers react? How can you react to that? -------------------- |

Originally posted by Anya Unpacking, for me, is the worst. That's when you find out that the movers were stupid and put [something fragile] under [something heavy], causing it to break. In addition, when I unpack, I normally go "Where the heck is all this stuff going to go?" Packing is 1) done by movers and 2) something that gets done and over with in a couple of days. We're still unpacking from our summer move. I am surrounded: 5 boxes to my right, 10 boxes to my left, and 3 in front of me. It's just crap that we haven't needed to use yet. In short, unpacking is painful and drawn-out. -------------------- |

This thread has made me play several games of Solitaire myself. Very fun, especially with infinite undo
A cheap way to play, I know, but it's more fun (and less frustrating) for me when I can win with determination ![]() -------------------- |

Granted, but the entire world around you is paused for this to happen. You alone can move, and have infinite time (as seen by everyone else), but are completely alone.
I wish I hadn't just broken off 1/3 of my fingernail Ouch...Rather, I wish my finger would stop hurting (there's a wish that can be granted) -------------------- |

We bought father's day presents. I also introduced her to XXI, which has shirts (not on sale) for $2.50 that are comparable to the Gap's $25 shirts. XXI also has a staggering selection. We had trouble finding what we wanted because there was so much stuff everywhere. At any rate, my back hurts a little now... -------------------- |

We had some random leeks and potatoes when my grandparents were around. We made leek-onion-potato soup. It was good, especially with a really good bread to wipe the bowl clean.

I normally get up at "lunchtime," so my meals are lunch (time of day)/breakfast (based on "first meal"). I tend to get hungry later on (like now), but I normally just ignore it. It goes away after a while.

My first name is pretty common, and people spell it wrong only occasionally (s instead of z, but it really doesn't matter). As for my last name, I am surprised if someone gets it right the first time. I normally congratulate the successful people, too.

The last time I had short hair was in middle school. My hair has a tendency to frizz, so I had an afro most of the time. Without long hair, I also looked like a boy (due to pre-feminine features phase

I tend to save money. My sister tends to spend it. I tend to loan her money, and recently decided that 1) she should pay me interest, 2) she should have a "payment plan" so that way "sometime" doesn't turn into never, and 3) she should have "late fees" if she doesn't follow the plan. Oh, and 4) there should be a written contract signed by both parties in the presence of a legal guardian
![]() She's pretty good about paying me back. It's just that I didn't feel comfortable loaning her hundreds of dollars so she could buy new technologies (at least, not without "legal" assurances and compensation) -------------------- |
