I had (still have, occasionally) a similar problem. One moment I'd be laughing, the next moment I'd be crying, and soon after I'd be both crying and laughing simultaneously at different things.
Fortunately, I had a pretty supportive family/doctor, and they unofficially diagnosed me with probably depression and/or anxiety, probably ADD or ADHD, maybe Aspergers, maybe bipolar, and since there's a history of Schizophrenia in my family, that got thrown into the mix as a possibility, too. Supportive != helpful for deciding exactly what my problem was, but something they did to fix me helped. Without knowing too much about your situation, I'd say could be anxiety (panic attacks), bipolar (sudden mood swings), or depression (unwarranted sadness). -------------------- |

If there is life there, and if we discover it, I just hope we don't destroy it with our curiosity
![]() I could see something like that happening. Who wouldn't want to get in on the biggest find mankind has ever made? Who wouldn't send out probes? Enough of them could unintentionally change the climate of the moon's surface/ ocean, or could cause some other sort of unforeseeable damage that would endanger the microbes' existence. This is, of course, purely hypothetical. If there is life there, we might be able to study it responsibly and not disturb the habitat in a negative manner. On a positive note, extraterrestrial life this close to us would be freaking awesome! It would be much more convenient to use this instead of some organism lightyears away to prove alien existence. -------------------- |

D'awwww...
I remember when my kitties used to play in water. Now that they've grown up, they're "too mature" to enjoy playing in water. They never decided to go for a swim, but they would paw at the water bowl, and would splash bath water when my little brother was in the tub. They also enjoyed drinking directly from the faucet. My old phone had some awesome mid-action pictures of them with their tongues out. They were cute ![]() -------------------- |

I tend to lay down on my bed/couch/whatever and pull my legs up to make a "table" for the laptop to sit on. I then rest the bottom part of the computer on my hip bones. The screen is at about a 150 degree angle. I works for me.
Kinda like this . | <-- Laptop /|\ \ o <-- me Obviously the laptop isn't that big but, meh, you get the idea. -------------------- |

Firstly: Sheriff: NOW is the time to speak. Please, for the love of God, tell us what you know.
Secondly: it is time for some serious thinking There are 5 of us left: me, Paranoia, krutomisi, Sukasa, and Anya. We have a 40% chance of picking right. We can do this guys! Paranoia has made many posts to the effect of "Come on guys! Lets do something with this game!" Only a one post had a vote. He seemed to jump pretty quickly on Tyty after his comment about how Ramon always gets killed first. krutomisi ...wait a second... *double checks thread* ONE post since the game started? Did I count that right? *checks again* Two if you count the pre-game "I'm in" post. That's a red flag to me. Sukasa voted for himself initially, when he thought no-kill was no-go. Changed his self-vote to no-kill. Erratic behavior is unsettling. He was one of the first people who suggested that experienced players were the most likely to kill off Ramon, for tradition's sake. He, like many of us, jumped on the Tyty bandwagon. Before Tyty died, he stated that, when Sukasa was mafia in other games, he behaved in the same manner (no-kill, then bandwagon). Honestly, that's how everyone seems to play (then again, I might overlooking small things that only experienced players can pick up on). Anya is new to this, like me. She went wherever the flow of the game took her, and stated a couple of times that she wasn't entirely familiar with how things were supposed to work. At this point in time, I'm going to vote krutomisi, because complete lack of game discussion is at least deserving of a death, if not a indication of mafia who doesn't want to draw attention to himself. -------------------- |

It's interesting how in the first Dubai picture, the row of buildings look massive. In the second one, they're less than half as tall as some of the skyscrapers.

Cool! Hopefully that job works out for you!
I'm debating on whether I should get a job, only to go back to school in about 3 months. It would probably be good to get out of the house, and maybe I'd meet some people who I could hang out with. I need to get friends down here.I'm also planning on tutoring when fall semester starts up again. Should be fun ![]() -------------------- |

Wait, isn't that the part of the sea where there's lots of pirates, or something like that?
![]() And would it have been that difficult to have another boat trailing her? It didn't even have to be within sight. 50-100 miles would suffice. Better than 500+ kilometers that the nearest boat was at. ![]() I hope she's going to be ok... -------------------- |

I just want to say: Sheriff, can you please tell us what you know? We're at the end, so tell us what you've discovered NOW. Today/tonight (assuming no doctor/trapper interference) will most likely be the last if we don't get solid information.

![]() From time to time (more often than I'd like), I can't think of "the right" word. You know, when it's right on the tip of your tongue, but you just can't say it? I tend to start saying a similar word, stop my self, say "No..." and then repeat a few times until I find it. Sometimes I'll involve the other person in my brainstorm ("It's kinda like this, but with more emphasis on that...") Also (again, more often than I like), I flub up on grammar so badly that I have to repeat the entire sentence. It's so mangled that it makes no sense at all. It kinda scares me just how much gets scrambled between thought and speech. I also have trouble annunciating, especially when I'm tired. I'll say something, like "Could you pass me that magazine?" and it comes out like "Cou pa sheeth ahga nee" or something similar. It's scary just how badly I can mangle words ![]() -------------------- |

Yesterday was damn hot. And it didn't help that I was wearing long-sleeved shirt with corduroy jacket and BDU pants while running around in the sun (description of paintball). Fortunately, they had giant Gatorade buckets of water in the "dead zones." I lost track of how much I drank. Glad I brought a change of clean, not-sweaty clothes. Fun stuff.
