I dont think so, I know the concept is suppose to be an image appearing 3d on the bottom touch screen without any sort of glasses. It also has an analogue stick.
![]() But im sure that the first releases of the 3ds will be very expensive and very easily crashed. The thing I like about the dsi xl is its a stable machine that supports web browsing and offers a larger screen than most handhelds. Its also a Hell of a lot cheaper than a psp (I hear they also stop working easily) -------------------- The System |

Originally posted by Aerakin Ive never even had a psp, im basing off of people I Know who have a psp. All Im saying, Based on personal experience, is that nintendo handhelds seem to last longer. But, in YOUR defense nintendo's newest released handheld the dsi xl is only as high tech as a release date original psp. But, I dont really care about features, the gameplay is what matters. I have had an original gameboy advance classic transparent for almost a decade now, and it still works great. -------------------- The System |

And also I love the fact that nintendo handhelds use good ol' cartridges instead of disks. Not only are they more reliable, but also way easier to maintain.

Hey guys, Im trying to emulate New super mario bros wii on my PC. I am Running NVIDIA GeForce Graphics, and a DirectX Compatible soundcard. However, When I load the ISO, you can hear in-game music and SFX being played but the screen remains yellow. Whats the problem? Is there anything I need to update?

I set everything to the lowest Quality and it actually runs exceptionally fast! and surprisingly that graphics are not THAT bad. the textures are just blunt, and the effects are very distorted. I guess shes' a tough Ol' Bastard eh? But I do plan on getting a better rig in the future, but I definately wont have the money for a "Hefty Stack" anytime soon.

| Hello everybody, I just joined a LARP , This is my fist LARP. And I need to buy some Garb and weapons, but with my current situation Everything I have been able to find online is a bit pricey, So I was hoping that the wonderful community of Jul may have some experienced LARPers who could give me some advice on how to make some simple garb and a simple boffer weapon. Or maybe direct me to a site that has affordable gear.thanks in addition. |

Thank you everybody for your stellar advice. I have constructed a fair amount of boffers (a staff, sword, axe,and club), and some pieces of armor as well (a pouldron, grieves, and van braces). but I have had trouble finding leather garb to go under these armor pieces. | I downloaded and tried to install the Halflife 2 mod "Day of Defeat", and encountered some problems. When I ran the installation exe it said: "could not initialize installation, file size expected= 18182739 File size returned= 10638201. I have 220 GB of Memory so I know that is not the problem, but anyway, What could the problem be, the download was incomplete maybe? Thanks |

| My Wii has been semi-bricked, thus not allowing me to access my settings menu. Recently we have upgraded to a new internet Modem. So with the modem comes a new SSID and Password. So being unable to access my settings menu, I can't change my Wii's default internet connection, so I have no internet access with my Wii. In a Nutshell, I was wondering if any Tech-Savvy Members of the Jul Forum would possibly give me advice on the latter. Not necessarily do I need to fix the Brick, But if there is some software/homebrew application that would allow me to access my internet settings in any way, that would work just fine. My Wii is version 4.3U, As stated in title, And I do have Homebrew Installed. Thank You In Advance, -Evan |

EDIT: Okay this is just becoming very redundant, and very irritating, I am trying to install the system menu, but every means of doing it requires downloading some IOS, and I can't download any IOSs because the reason for what I am trying to accomplish prevents me from connecting my Wii to the internet, and that is the reason for trying to do all of this anyway. And only half of the IOSs I need are available over the internet on my PC, and half of those available are most likely corrupt. So at this point there is not much I can do. |
