I have recently been hacking the wii homebrew channel and there is so many damn errors I get it to work maybe once of five times. So I decided I would rather put in a couple bucks and just get wii virtual console. so I cant get the Wii-Fi to work, it just says no access found! so I grab the phone and call up Nintendo myself. After dealing with phone-bots for 5 fucking minutes I get a hold of a representative to find out Wiis dont support wireless air cards
 what a waste of time right? so I go to gamestop and purchess a wireless adapter for the Wii. with my extended ear-to-ear grin I unpackage the adapter to make the horrifying discovery that the damn gamestop clerk "accidently" gave me a LAN adapter that requires a cat 5 network cable ( whatever the holy fuck that is ). to make matters worse, almost the whole manual was in spanish!****WTF****so I am thinking maybe I was better off using homebrew? Any suggestions to get homebrew running up to snuff? also does anyone know a nice homebrew NES emulator and where I can download it?I hope I entertain you all, with my little fit of rage  -------------------- The System |

You... Don't know what Cat 5 cable is? It's... Network cable. Not exactly rocket science there.
Whole post is kinda Facepalm worthy, honestly. Especially considering how easy and well-explained most Wii homebrew is. Go if you're having that much of an issue. you dont understand my point, Its not that I dont know how to work wii homebrew, I have it working. Its just there is constant errors because a currupted file. Its not me or my lack of knowledge. Its a bad download. Plus the whole post was just supposed to be kind of dry humor. Protip: You're new and we don't know your personality. Where did you get your homebrew from? There should only be a few places. Bannerbomb, BootMii, you should have gotten your stuff from their respective official sites. Otherwise you're just asking for trouble. If you did get them from those sites, then it's likely error on your part because we've all used the same materials as you without trouble. Oh, thats probably my problem. I got the snes9x gx emulator from homebrew heaven, and that, specificly, what Im having a problem with. Where do you suggest I get snes9x gx and the nes emulator from? -------------------- The System |

...What? Homebrew channel. You can have tons of applications on your SD card at once. well, I had Wii64 and fce ultra on my SD card. They would not load on homebrew unless they where named "apps". and as you know.. you cannot have two files of the same name in one folder(sd card), regardless I would rather have them as channels anyway. -------------------- The System |

Another vid of the water level, which I'm still thinking of a name (I'm thinking of using one of M. Bison names) This is going to be improved, so suggestions of what kind of obstical's you think I should use in place of the ones in the video would be nice. The bowser puzzle is a bit like the "where's waldo" books (but with mario and co) which you would have to track marios face, wait to the coins to apper, find the bit of the puzzle, wait untill thier is a hole and jump down to get the star, I realise would be hard as it is too complicated, I'm thinking of retexturing it with numbers in order and putting an simple equation in a text box so the user would know what bit of the puzzle to drop down and get the star. Also I fell that I am kinda posting alot if videos on this board lately so I'm probabily going to stop as it is kinda spamming the board dispite it being on topic I actually think its a pretty nice (definately interesting) hack, I would suggest putting some poles in there. Did you ever consider reskinning some of the obstacle/objects with that texture with all of the faces, like pherhaps the tipping platform. And so long as you are posting mods patches and staying on topic I think you should be able to post on the board as much as you wish, I enjoy viewing your hacks anyway. I mastered Zelda: TP so now Im Hacking the fuck out of it with GeckoCodes.
 I got about 67 stars on SMG and then started getting bored...so I hacked the hell out of that one to. I just think it makes the whole gaming expieriance better... Because I find some of the gravity puzzle in mario galaxy just obnoxious and hard so now with the help of Gecko Os I unlocked WeeGee so I can start the whole process over agian... yay! -------------------- The System |
