I cant get the download link to work.
I watched the videos and I am really impressed by how the machines work. Quite ingenious. I hope you get approached to design future SMB levels! |

Thanks for doing this, I am about to play it now. I will reply again soon!
Edits:
These are my honest opinions on the hack. I hope you dont take offense because none is intended.
World 1-1 nice start
World 1-2 there is an issue with the camera at the very start. Nice level though.
1-3 The blind jump at the beginning is bad. Last platform is too close to the end flag, too easy to get 1-up.
1-T Too much like the original, and way too easy.
So far I have found way too many original parts of the levels remaining.
1-4 Maybe you could have put the remakes of classic levels in the secret areas? Also the pipe to the secret area doesnt work. Last platform is too close to the end flag, too easy to get 1-up.
1-5 was way too short.
1-A was ok, but found I could go through the level without any trouble at all just shooting all the bloopers and fish. maybe needs more obstacles. I find water levels the most difficult on mario games (in particular the water level on world 7 of SMB3), but this was way too easy.
Castle: Some good design here, still too much of the original remains though.
I understand that there are issues with editing some of the levels, they dont work when you delete/move certain things like exits and so you have to design around them.
Its a good effort though, and I will play through the rest of the game. |
