| Thank you as always, Joe!
I've found some more text that was deleted from Legend of Makai.
Scene 2 shop intro text.
Buying a Boomerang Knife in Scene 3.
A deleted note item from Scene 3.
Deleted text from the castle part of Scene 3.
Text near a hidden SHOP entrance in Scene 4.
That hidden shop's intro text (English versions uses the standard intro)
Buying a Boomerang Knife in Scene 4's hidden shop.
Buying the note in the hidden shop.
Buying a hint from a shop in Scene 5. ____________________ |

| Yikes! Those are some real jerk moves there, it's no wonder why they were removed.
The "throwing weapon" refers to the magical daggers / axes that act like projectile weapons. Thank you again for translating all this. ____________________ |

I think this is the last chunk of text that needs to be translated.
Untranslated hint from Scene 6.
The other untranslated Scene 6 hint.
The three fake items here have the same message "That was faked!" in Legend of Makai, but they seem to have unique messages in the Japanese version.
Fake storyteller bird.
Fake feather.
Untranslated text from a transitional room.
This text appears before Scene 6's boss.
Both of the hints in Scene 7 were deleted from Legend of Makai.
The second Scene 7 hint. ____________________ |

| Looks like I was wrong about Legend of Makai.
Here's a message for buying a variant of the Storyteller Bird that isn't available in the English version.
There are a couple of string that aren't use in either version: すばやさのくすり I think this says Medicine of Quickness or something similar. はやさの くすりでございます。 10かぞえる あいだは,はやくはしれます Shop message for the Medicine of Quickness. あしが はやくな た。 Buying the Medicine of Quickness. いやいやどりで ございます。 ぺットにすると,いやします。 I don't know what those two strings are for. ____________________ |

Thanks again for all this.

After rummaging through the game ROM, this should be the very last (for real this time (really)) text that needs to be translated.
Another dummied out room description. This room has a lot of floating faces in it.
Powerful Dagger description
Magical Dagger description The rest of these are unused so I have no context for them.
???
Hint about something.
I think this is the buy text for the Disagreeable Bird. ____________________ |

Thanks again for translating all this.

So I figured out what that weird hint, "From the left tower to to the right tower, move the lever to the top right in one go" means. It displays this message in the Japanese version and nothing in the English version. ____________________ |

I'd like to request a translation of the two names here. The game lists "Magician Kaz", "Teddy Koike", and "Tack Karube" as software programmers, and "K. Fujimoto" and "M. Yamaguchi" under hardware, so it's probably two of those. ____________________ |

Leftover Kanji from Crime City
Kanji is used in the intro and on the newspaper screens as subtitles. There's a newspaper in the ending that isn't subtitled, is the Kanji germane to that? ![]() ____________________ |

| Unused enemy names from the Japanese version of Phantasy Star II. These are blanked out in the English verison. All enemy groups come in threes.
Group 1:
Group 2 (I think I got these, just checking): (Starfish)
(Spinning Star)
(Sewing Star??)____________________ |

I think I translated most of these names right...anyone want to double check? Warning: There's a lot of them. A full list of enemies (with pictures, which will help) can be found here ____________________ |

More Phantasy Star II stuff. The two unequipped items only have names in the Japanese version. I believe they're "Stone Statue of Tyron" (Odin in the US version of Phantasy Star I), and "Hapsby", which is the name of a robot in PS1. EDIT: Ignore the use text here. I thought it was unique, but it's just using the Red Card's text as a placeholder. EDIT 2: There's a name for an unused techniquel in PS2: "リューフェ". It's coded like a support technique. Anyway, how would you romanize that? ____________________ |

| So there's a game called Led Storm Rally 2011 that was added to MAME's game set in version 0.167. This game did have cabinets made and it got to location testing, but it apparently performed poorly, so it was retooled and eventually released as Led Storm (Early set) / Mad Gear (Later sets).
Should Led Storm Rally 2011 and Mad Gear both have separate articles, or should Led Storm Rally 2011 be in the prototype section of Mad Gear's article? ____________________ |
