i've found trying to fall asleep to music has opposite the intended effect on me - i tend to focus on the music and listening to it keeps me up. if it's on loop, i pick it apart and listen to the different insteuments or melodies. i think this is called "deep listening"?

that said, things that do tend to help me sleep is hair brushing/scalp massaging ASMR, and..... watching speedruns

unfortunately i've only played Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles+ so far (i do intend to play through them all some day), but according to Steam the recent reviews for it have been "Very Positive" as opposed to an overall "Mixed", though the community forums seems to have a lot of users complaining (though what else is new on steam these days)

I think i might have preferred the development to take a little longer? but i agree that it's really nice

I also got the panicked one, though i don't really know why myself.. i started off playing a bit violent, but after seeing i wasn't gaining XP and they all fled i decided to switch to a more pacifist playthrough, and the people in the castle forgave me, so i thought i was doing pretty well.

secret:

i wasn't so great at dodging attacks, though after my first couple deaths of the demo to the carousel i managed to get through it. i also expected him to be flowey or some sort of analogue given his way of talking and the mild mystery about him, and taking to account other characters from undertale had popped up
