Hi I'm new here, I like using Toad'sTool 64 (even though I'm not good at programming)
I'm currently working on a SM64 mod what I hope to complete soon.

Maybe they thought of putting it in instead of the back flip before they put all the controls in?

Terrible with "famous people" because I don't watch TV much but mostly because I forget them straight away.

Hi I'm minimaster58 and while not very good at technical stuff I hope to expand my knowledge but in the mean time I'll try to contribute to threads I understand (like helping people find out what different textures are for). I'm working on one project at the mo.

I'm changing all the textures in the game and sometimes I want to just export all the textures again (even the updated ones) but every time I do that he pictures are there original texture, the only way to fix it is to click on each picture, is there a quicker way?
EDIT: Oh and by the way how can I edit pictures in the game that Toad's Tool won't let me change (like the glove picture above) if we shouldn't use tile molester? I can't find anything on Google.

Very good but Wanda didn't seem to have an active role. 4 and a half out of 5.

Luigi's Mansion, dear god Nintendo can be eerie/creepy when they want to be and "Zombies!" (also known as "Zombies Ate my Neighbours!" out of the UK) on SNES scared me to some extent as a 5 year old.

I've successfully downloaded and applied the patch but the game's text is jumbled up, like a simple sentence such as "You've found a star!" would be "Y uve fon a ar!" anyone else know why this has happened or had this problem? Very good game otherwise though, I love that you've put classic Mario music in.

Probably a stupid question but say me and a friend had the same modded ROM is there any way we could both play against each other online?

Rules are: it has to be an animal (fictional counts) not a human like creature (goblins, trolls, elves, etc) and must be drawn in under 5 minutes (approximately)

My bat is rubbish but I drew a much better one but it took me way more than 5 minutes.

What's interesting is that the music is divided in 3 "layers". The first layer is the background music set by the 0x36 command. The second is used for sequences such as Bosses music, Piranha Plant's, Toad's music etc. For instance, when you get near a Piranha Plant, the music is set on the second layer and the first layer is muted.

The third layer is used for Mario Sounds and other sound effects. You can actually play three different musics at once (however sounds in Mario's layer will be affected by his movement).

This is interesting, but what do you mean by "affected" is the quality affected or is it simply harder to hear?

Nope, that has the same bug that causes problems editing N64 graphics as the first one.

I had some spare time, so I taught myself Python and programmed these. They're command-line graphics import/export tools. You can use any competent image editor (for example, GIMP) to edit exported textures.

I can also provide the source if anyone is interested or would like to run it on something other than Windows. (It's really just a couple of Python scripts.)

This sounds great, but I can't open any of the files?

I would love to see a reporter make an article like that after trying to programme a video game, nay programme the main menu for a video game.

Yay, now we can flail with our arms while sitting in a train or something

That would be...uncomfortable. But how many people here play handhelds on public transport? I would be far more protective personally.

Which files can you not open? (Please be specific.)

That's probably my problem then, I only got one file for some reason. Let me try again.

Please disregard that I tried a different object importer and got them confused. I cant open the Import or Export Apps, they just flash a command box at me and disappear before I get a chance to read it. And I don't know how or what to open the other 3 files with or if I should even tamper with them.

So hopefully we'll find a simpler way to add in music? 'Cause I can't do all the steps to change them.

Just 1440x900 but it's good enough for what I use my computer for.
