Wow.
Just wow.

She probably hasn't "learned" half as much as most of the people on this board. She wouldn't last 2 second in the kinda math classes we've all been through. Am I wrong?
Edit: So her second article starts with a Harry Potter reference. Now I understand where she gets her amazing intellectual powers; oh man, how I wish I would have been reading Harry Potter instead of playing NSMB.

PC clients can run in -bigadv mode and get crazy points, but it'd require either an overclocked quad-core or a Core i7 to meet the deadlines. I'm still refusing to participate because I still don't have a way to make idle priority actually work. It leaves the PC mostly usable, it's definitely not like high-priority...but still.

... What? It's understandable if it's not your machine and not your decision, but really. NoScript is less than a megabyte (or maybe slightly larger.) No excuse NOT to have it, even if you're on dialup, on any operating system.
This complaint arises from having to reinstall Windows for the fifth time in three weeks on the slow Sempron-powered PC my sister uses because she insists on going to questionable gaming sites, in IE6 (she refuses to let me install anything else because IE7 and 8 "don't have menus" and "Firefox is too slow") and keeps getting infected by a bunch of malware in ads that wrecks pretty much everything.
...
Install Windows Defender, configure it to hide the tray icon and never prompt for anything. She won't ever know, and it'll stop most of those infections.

I was playing the NES since 1990. I had the SMB/Duckhunt cart, SMB3, NES Open Tournament Golf, Blaster Master, Xexyz, Double Dragon II, Dr. Mario, and Tetris.

I'm actually considering doing that, since it's mostly flat for a few miles to work
I used to ride 25 miles each way doing that. That was almost 2 years ago. And it was definitely kinda cold.
I still don't have my own car but my family shares vehicles.

Yeah, I was 130lbs when I did that and I'm a 5'11" male. I've gained a little weight since then though.

I'm really used to freezing rain, snow, and ice by now... it's just some drivers on the road that annoy me, not knowing how to handle these kinds of weather situations
Freezing rain is completely amazing.

It lasted me a good five years, though... although my old computer has also needed a CMOS battery change too
In your case, maybe the PC speaker is warning you that your motherboard or CPU is overheating. Try checking the power supply and fans, to see if they're working...
Wow. I've used a lot of very old computers. But none ever needed a new CMOS battery.

Here's a random resolution that can't be finished this year alone: finish my degree. Yeah, having half a degree isn't particularly useful.

So I just got Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on Blu Ray. Now, to see if it's any good.
Normally waiting 20 minutes is more than enough time to not have a double-post in this thread; where is everybody at 8AM?

There's no point in arguing with people who have inflated egos; ignore them and you won't have that problem. Srsly.

It mostly works; I can't actually type in the search box or click the moving links, but at least all the links appear.
