Sumatra PDF

Unlike Adobe, it doesn't need to update 45 times per year. It's also much faster. It still integrates with the browser (I'm using Chrome). Can't go wrong here.

I had a guinea pig once that ate the plastic house I made him. He never had any trouble getting in until he started growing (of course), so yeah, he chewed the plastic around the entrance until it was almost twice as big as it was when I built it. I had some destroyed blocks but he had a home.

Ahh, I guess we should expect that one in the next 20 minutes, at this rate.

There are other Auto Mario videos, and they're more epic!

Especially like the second one. RED ZONE is just epic.

Well, youngsters, when I was little we had a Commodore 64. It had 64 kilobytes of RAM, no hard drive at all, an external floppy drive with 166 KB capacity per disk side, and you had to flip the physical disk over to access the other side, a 6510 single-core CPU that ran at 1 MHz, and a maximum 320*200 resolution with 16 colours.

When it came out in 1982, it was considered state-of-the art.

Well my first CPU was 4 times as fast as yours.

Actually it still is, with my o/ced Core i7.

And who are you calling youngsters?

Windows 3.1 mostly sucked... I remember those "General Protection Fault" messages that would come up a lot if you were low on system resources

That was pretty common back in the days of computers with 4 MB of RAM or less

But Windows 3.1 was epic! I had a lot of fun with it, even if I wasn't incredibly productive. That's when I was still using a 486 with 4MB of RAM. I kinda miss it a little bit.

Windows 3.1 did have some great games though... I can think of Chip's Challenge, JezzBall, and various solitaire variants

Chip's Challenge was amazing.

I once beat the Minesweeper on easy in 6 seconds.

Microsoft had 4 volumes of game packs. There was some good stuff. I was addicted to Tetris for a while.

I liked Windows 3.1

Even today, I prefer the Program Manager style of windows with icons over the Start menu.

Up until Win98 (ME?) you could edit win.ini and make that your window manager.

Which was an AWESOME netzero hack. Netzero ads depended on the shell. When you switched shells, you got no ads but the free internet still worked.
