(Sorry for bump.)
Hopefully. It's especially awesome with anaglyph stereo vision drivers (which are free from iz3d.com; required 3d glasses come with many movies now). They fake the stereo in most older titles, like Episode 1, by showing the same image horizontally shifted, which is NOT cool. nVidia has a list but beware of anything not rated "Excellent".

I'm surprised that Nintendo has been getting less sales (on the SMB series) since 1985. Could it be they have too much competition? Too much piracy? Eh, probably just too much competition from their own games.

Link.

I find it interesting that the people of Uganda wanted Americans to come speak to them. They probably wouldn't listen if it had been a group of three of their own people. This is actually common in most developing countries (or at least the ones that don't hate us )

I'm jealous. I really wanted an LED-backlit monitor so I have a pair of Dell G2210's @ 1680x1050. But they don't make any at that insane resolution.

I like some games at 1280x1024 because they strech to exactly 1680x1024. Unlike normal stretching, it doesn't look horribly bad at non-native resolution since it's only distorted in one dimension.

Wow, usually when we're promised a Q1 '10 launch, it means closer to Q2 '10, not January 4th. If you're interested in a new CPU any time this year, check it out. (I seriously don't need to upgrade my 3.9GHz Core i7 any time soon.)

Back in the days when I used my parents' old Commodore 64, with 64 KB of RAM, an external floppy drive with 166 KB capacity, no hard drive, no mouse, and a maximum 320*200 resolution, I thought computers would stay around the same level of power for my whole life.

I started with a PC Junior, and I couldn't even tell you the specs, except for the unforgettable 5.25in floppy drive. After that it was an IBM PS/2, maxed out to 640kB of RAM, because that's all we would ever need.

I agree. I only voted for it because it was fun, not because I've ever done anything extremely useful with it (I'm not saying that it isn't useful).
