I've been using WindHex, and am happy with it. It has all the useful features, including relative search, which I use a lot when creating tables. It even has it's own table editor! Useful for including S-JIS characters.
So, yeah. I tried Translhextion once, but I didn't like it.

EDIT: Whoops. I've made a great start by bumping a thread. So, yeah. Sorry.

So what is this wiki about? Is it just ROM Hacking, like DataCrystal? Or beta stuff, like X-Cult? That way or the other, I'll help when registering is enabled.

I'd say "DvatisΓce deset", which is Czech and just means "Two thousand ten", so I'd go with that in English. "Twenty ten" sounds really weird to me, kinda like if you're saying "twenty eight... twenty nine... twenty ten..." o.O

This is my current desktop.
I couldn't find a nice picture for it, so I just put a prime spiral there. It's... weird, but interesting. I'm going to keep it for some time.
The various icons including game ones I've got there I don't really use or play, but I keep them because, they don't really take any place... I mean, you have to use the desktop somehow.
I've also included a name-censored screen of my Miranda.

I stayed up until about 2:40. If I went to bed before then, I couldn't really sleep anyways because of all the fireworks and stuff.

For GB/A, I'm using:
A = Z
B = X
L = A
R = S
start = enter
select = left control
up = P
left = L
down = ;
right = '
I've been using arrow keys since it was the default on VBA, but I switched because of being unable to hold B and move diagonally at the same time. Annoying. Now I find this layout better.
Genesis/Mega Drive is similar:
ABC = ZXC
XYZ = ASD

When playing multi on one computer (a laptop, so no numpad):
Player 1:
D-pad = arrow keys
A = ,
B = .
(C) = /
L(X) = L
R(Y) = ;
(Z) = /
start = enter
select = control or shift
Player 2:
D-pad: wasd
A = \
B = shift
(C) = control
L = Q
R = E
start = caps lock
select = tab

It depends a lot on the game we're playing, though.

I am sorry! I was trying out an auto-refresh script, and...
Well, I don't think I have anything to vindicate myself, expect that I wasn't going for the 14Mth view...
I feel guilty... Is there anything I can do to be forgiven ?

So, yeah. There will probably be a sequel or two.

I saw it today in 3D, and it was pretty amazing. The language is fully-developed, too. I would recommend this movie. I don't go to the cinema very often though (three of four times per year), so I can't really compare it to other movies.

Posted on 01-08-10 09:44:55 AM, in Mariokart DS Level Editor...Are there any out there?? (last edited by Sanky at 01-09-10 05:07 AM) Link
I've managed to switch around the files of tracks. Each track has two files: .carc and Tex.carc. The download play courses have two additional files, marked with a D. I tried switching the files around to play different courses using Download Play, but when I replaced any of the non-D files, download play freezed while downloading. Chaning only the D files works, though. The leader plays the original track and members the replaced one.
The format is going to be hard to figure out though.

Cheater. You had to find it through my whois...

Well, I really didn't want to, but you see, I had no choice! Everyone would do the same. I thought it's some kind of mafia game running on Jul first, though, going by the innocent town name XD
At least I didn't go around screaming HEY LOOK IT'S A SECRET FORUM.
I was playing around the forum IDs before, but I haven't got the idea to enter 99 there.

Posted on 01-20-10 04:01:15 PM, in IM clients (last edited by Sanky at 01-20-10 04:06 PM) Link
So, what IM clients do you use?
I used to have MSN, QIP (for ICQ) and Skype running on my computer all the time, along with Gmail for Google Talk and AIM. Recently I switched to Miranda IM, because MSN was getting bloated and I just wanted to have everything on one place. Since them, I've never looked back, and also included the Facebook protocol in there (I hate Facebook, but people have it and it's more then often the only way to chat with them). It also has support for Skype, but the official client has to be running in the background, because the developers suck and made sure NOBODY reverse-engineers their protocol. It's better then nothing, I guess.
I've also imported all my history I could collect in there, which means my home.dat database file is now almost 10 MB :O

What IM do you use? Do you use an unofficial client? I've heard Pidgin and Trillian are also a good alternative, anyone has experience with them?

EDIT: Maybe I should've posted this in Computers / Technology... Could a mod move it if necessary, please?

Funny thing with Trillian, when I have Skype, it brings up the Skype program anyway, so when I get an IM, I'll get two windows flashing at me.

Yeah, Miranda does that too, though I've muted Skype.

Posted on 02-04-10 01:25:07 PM, in Why I never played tetris when I grew up (last edited by Sanky at 02-04-10 01:27 PM) Link
We play the 5 player multiplayer in Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary at school. Fun times.

I also played Panel de Pon in the form of PokΓ©mon Puzzle Challenge. I still like it, but as with Puyo Puyo, I'm not very good at it.

I'm slowly learning to do chains in Puyo though, I can already prepare a simple 4-5 stairs chain. Doing 9 chains like the people on Wi-Fi is pretty crazy though D;
Also I like the Frozen Puyos mode, where instead of Nuisance Puyos, you get frozen Puyos which break in about three turns and do nice chains on their own. Fun.

I don't really like Tetris, though I can survive for 10 levels on Tetris DS.

It was normal for me to have at least 40 tabs open in Firefox at once (once I had 120), but I've migrated to Google Chrome because I couldn't stand the lag anymore. Even now though, about 10 tabs is standard, but I actually close the tabs I don't need anymore and use bookmarks!!!
