| Ogre and I have never had much desire to put up a Christmas tree. It involves work, the cats would knock all of it down, and we're pretty much apathetic towards decorating anyway. My mom sends a wreath every year, so we just put that up. No hassle, no fuss, no kitty interference. |

| Disgaea 2 is crack once you get into the fun of making ludicrously overpowered characters. I got my Dreadnaught, Forest Gump, up to something like 1 million attack and defense, which really isn't all that much post-game. I collected all the pirate maps and started power leveling him in the Land of Carnage, and that distracted me from actually finishing the main storyline. I eventually wanted to capture an Uber Dreadnaught, which would be even more hilariously strong, but I didn't get around to that either. Oh well. I made another Warriors Orochi video, and I plan to add to the collection as I feel like it. I'm looking for other fun characters to play (as opposed to characters with one best move to repeatedly spam). Check my YouTube account if you're interested. I'll holler in this thread when I get around to some other game. We are looking for a copy of Rock Band, so it may be sooner rather than later. |

The first and only time I encountered a Z pirate, the Dragonball-haired goof hit Forest for 0 damage and got countered to death. |

| We come from the land of the ice and snow! From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow! So I'm not quite that far north, but we can count on plenty of cold weather and the associated precipitation. It was high 30s today. It felt balmy. We got some snow a couple of days ago, and it's still decorating the ground around town. Looks nice + I don't have to shovel it = yay. |

Honorable mention came about from playing a lot of Four Swords and Dynasty Warriors 4 in the same weekend. I dreamed about Xiahou Dun kicking the crap out of Tingle WWE-style. He picked him up and slammed him into a balcony. It was epic. |

| Holy crap Rock Band "Run to the Hills" OMFG WIN/10 ASPLODE. Too bad I was playing someone else's character at the time, and then we had to put my character in a different band, and we haven't unlocked that song with that band. At least I got to try out my metal-style high notes (well, as metal as I can manage without the power of man falsetto). It was awesome. |

| I'm a ligyrophobe. It's not that I think the world is asploding or a loud noise is going to physically hurt me. Loud, sharp sounds just give me this nasty physical twitch. I hate human vomit (I can deal with cat hork because it's in limited quantities and doesn't usually smell terrible) and the idea of getting a stomach illness is even worse. The last such illness I had was almost 14 years ago, and the memory still disgusts me like whoa. At least this fear prevented me from being too crazy with the alcohol during my college years. And word to the avoidance of touching metal things. Static electricity annoys me. |

| PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME OMGOMGLOL Actual answer - I love PB&J, but my most recent favorite has to be the Subway Vegi Max on flatbread. If you like garden patty sort of foods, it's toasty warm melty cheese veggie heaven. |

| Not much other than Warriors Orochi 2. I'm maintaining a weapon FAQ for it, writing a FAQ for one of my favorite characters who doesn't have one (Goemon Ishikawa), and about to start some no-pickup solo run tier list awesomeness. I need to play more Samurai Warriors 2 at some point. I got through some of the storylines and got distracted by other hobbies as usual. |

Resonance @ fictionpress.com A wrong turn leads her to a sleeping town that is not as deserted as it seems. The only way out lies further down a rabbit hole of untold secrets, shifting reality, and waking nightmares. Psychological horror inspired by the Silent Hill games. I posted a draft of this a long while ago. Since then, I made some major improvements to the writing thanks to some feedback from Hiryuu (whatever his name is now) and other friends who gave it a rigorous look-over. I'm not yet up to the end of that old draft, let alone beyond it, but please check out the story again even if you remember what happened last time. Anonymous reviews are enabled on my FP account, so you can comment here or there. Another update should be on its way this month. Writer's block and general distraction held me up for a while. |

| After having conked out in my friends' guest room thanks to consuming mass quantities of Troegs Mad Elf, I woke up in time to hear them all count down to midnight. Going out to join the countdown involved too much work and energy at the time. Before anyone asks, I was not hung over because I also consumed mass quantities of water. |

| NARF This appearance brought to you by an email from Blades and a poke from Anya on Twitter, which is where I post regularly because it's great for short updates and occasional conversations without the expectation of instant replies. I do update the ol' LiveJournal once in a while. I haven't been much for general purpose board chatter in ages. I mainly post on GameFAQs and boards related to my 2-years-and-still-going obsession - Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and the history behind it all. I haven't cosplayed since 2006, but I have gotten back into my fiction writing. I'm still lifting the heavy stuff at the gym. I never stopped that. ![]() Still happily married, still spoiling Chester and Cookie rotten. At the age of seven, they still think they're kittens. I'm currently at the best job I've ever had. Lots of research & development, lots of gnarly geometry and math problems to solve. Great pay, excellent time off, steady 40-hour workweek, my own office with a door (I got lucky), and I can walk to work as well. tl;dr life is great, and it's even better to see you all again. Hopefully we can keep the conversation going. |

Amazing! A picture of me with no costume involved. I'm also aware that my office is in a halfway redecorated state. I've been slacking. |

| GameFAQs - Signed up in 2000, served as a moderator from 2001 to around 2005. I still post on various game-specific boards as a regular old fart user. KOEI Warriors - Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and its KOEI beat 'em up brethren are addictive. Hella addictive. And fun to chat about with fellow addicts. KOEI.com - See above. The Scholars of Shen Zhou - Because Three Kingdoms history TRUFAX sucked me in when I began to research it. |

| 2009 Toyota Prius, and I absolutely love it. It's like a cross between a space shuttle and Power Wheels. Press a button to turn it on! Be weirded out by the lack of engine noise! Holler at the spousal unit for messing around with the fancy dashboard display while you're trying to look at the backup camera! It's halfway paid off, too. My 1996 Chevy Cavalier is still going with 100K miles on it. We sold it to some friends who had moved into town and needed some wheels. |

| Although I'm a newbie to first-person shooters, I'm a sucker for games with boatloads of randomized loot for the taking. I was also encouraged by more experienced gamers' complaints of having a too-easy time as they progressed. The spousal unit got this for the PC and loved it, so I figured I would give the Xbox version a shot. I spent a while flailing around because I couldn't aim worth a crap. I practiced pointing at scenery until I figured it out well enough to have a chance of killing stuff and surviving. The game is giving me a decent challenge so far, especially thanks to armored skags and that damn Bonehead boss. I haven't mastered that fine-grained moving + aiming that is important to doing well at the game. Still, it's a worthwhile endeavor and fun enough that I'm interested in putting in some practice for improvement. And the spousal unit can always help me out on 2-player. ![]() |

| I HAS A VIDEO of Cao Ren godmodding Warriors Orochi 2. This is a no-pickup solo run on the highest difficulty, intended to show his stupidly broken maximized offense. I have some Warriors Orochi solo runs, but they do not represent ideal setup and gameplay. Still, they could be considered whipping the shit out of the game because they were some of the better chaos difficulty runs available at the time when I made them. (And especially because the featured character was widely considered to be crap, and my work got several people to TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THOR) For the absolute best collection of Dynasty Warriors 3, Dynasty Warriors 5, and Warriors Orochi maximized gameplay, check out the DW5chaosmodeguide channel. Dude is a KOEI wizard, I swear. |
