Originally posted by dirbaio Perhaps, instead of entrances and exits for pipes/doors, and instead, make it so that when you have a pipe object, there is a dropdown for "None, Entrance, and Exit", and then have the settings there in the pipe object (also for doors), and have entrance creation automatic (for those two) I am probably asking alot, but I am hoping

@Dirbaio: please still continue to develop the PC version, because computers are more powerful and capable (although a DS branch of the editor is an awesome idea )I will look forward to it! Also, do you think that TileSet editing will be able to be ported to the DS? If so, it will be COOL! |

And if it hasn't been answered, I recommend asking in the help thread so this section doesn't get cluttered ![]() |

| Suggestion: If possible, can you make a setting in the tileset editor for which Jyotyu palette to use? I've been wanting that since I found out about how Jyotyu works with multiple palettes... there are 4, AFAIK. They are: Normal (most overworld) Red (haven't seen these in-game) (everything has a red tint to it) Blue (underground/castles/towers) Grey (Ghost Houses) In the editor, they are right next to each other (at the top) of the bg_ncl folder ![]() |

| Is this ASM or just regular behavior modifications? Either way, this can lead to some really cool automatic levels ![]() |

| I can't seem to find a working version of NSMBe 2.x or 1.x, does anyone know where I can get a working one? (I probably sound like a noob, but I want to compare them, and want them for archival purposes) Thanks ![]() |

Originally posted by m64m No, it is not a 3D tile. It is a 2D graphic in these two files: BG_ncg \ d_2d_TEN_a_j_jyotyu_ncg.bin obj \ A_block_ncg.bin Both must be changed in order to have the blocks work properly... I need a bit of help... I have been looking at the different blocks of different levels trying to find the byte that decides which Jyotyu palette to use (normal, blue, grey, or red), with no success... I am assuming it is only one byte with values from 0x00 to 0x03, but I am probably wrong... If anyone knows what byte it is, please let me know. Also, what block is the byte for the tileset in? |

| I am wondering if I should ask how you found out how to do that... Anyway, I used HxD (my personal favorite hex editor), and did that (and to others that want to do it, Ctrl+G works in HxD too) stuff on 3 different backgrounds, and it worked!!! Thank you sooooo much, Dirbaio Now my castles look 'proper'.(and, for the record, it was easy) |
