I built this crazy-ass tower and sky garden on Sukasa's multiplayer server, signed with my name once you get up it!
Afti built the entrance to what he calls Minecrafture nearby, next to Draconicus' castle.
Oh and he built a bunch of his name all over the place and said he was going to roof it, right around where I signed the ground so that you could see who built the tower. :C
No pictures, you have to sign in and see it yourself! Or someone else can post pictures, I can't screenshot right now.

Hey look it's Garr from OUT OF NOWHERE.
About two weeks ago, an old Game Boy roguelike was translated, called Cave Noir. It's got a lot of great music, and an interesting gimmick to it, I'd recommend checking it out! Here's the translation patch, I don't want to go all files and post the actual ROM, of course.
The primary gimmick is that you have four dungeons, each of which having a different objective for you to complete for each "level". You don't level up in a traditional manner, instead you get stronger the further into the levels you go. This actually makes it very puzzle-like and reminds me a lot of Stone Soup's tactical combat, as you usually want to avoid combat if you can get away with it. Enemies don't drop EXP, and rarely drop useful items.(Though the items they drop are VERY useful!)
Give it a shot!

The Earth's magnetic field flipping itself is not something that would destroy the atmosphere. It's actually quite a normal phenomena that carries no danger to it at all. Here's an article on Magnetic Reversals.
It really is fun to think about apocalypse scenarios from time to time, but really, there are far more interesting ways for us to get wiped out than a fake 'total frying via magnetic reversal'.
My favorite is the GRB. A Gamma-Ray Burst. Look it up, it's awesome.

I think the question we need to ask here is... Why?
Content: I once ate a whole dandelion, because I thought it would taste good. Yellow flower and all. I was very wrong about my thoughts.

If you saw me, you'd understand why I say Touhou is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Publicly being a furry is one, too. That counts, right?
Oh and Fallout Boy, Panic At the Disco, a couple other of those high-energy pseudo-punk bands that got labeled 'emo' at some time during the 00's.

RE: Tanuki discussion; seriously, guys? You didn't know that a tanuki's a real animal, and now you're mistakenly calling it a raccoon? It's a superficial resemblance at best.
Here's a quick wiki link to hash it out.
As for PETA, they're just a bunch of exploitative madmen. All they really do is tromp around, screaming for attention and relevancy and feeding off of peoples' most base reactions. Not only do they kill animals pretty willy-nilly, but they're also the most offensive organization I've seen this side of the Phelps clan, with very sexist policies and ad campaigns(google those yourself; they're almost all NSFW and objectifying women).

Hey, Jul! It's been a while!
Anyway, I found there was no thread talking about my favorite challenge run event of the year; the Final Fantasy 5 Four Job Fiesta.
A lot of you are probably confused, wondering what it is! Really simple: The Four Job Fiesta is a challenge run of Final Fantasy 5 where you are assigned four jobs throughout the entire game, randomly, one from each crystal, and you can only use those. Mix and match their abilities all you want, but you MUST have one of each, and can only have those four!
There are other rules(Like Random, which chooses from all Jobs available at that point in the game, or Natural, which means no job switching.), but that information can all be found at the help section here.
So what's the big deal? Easy; the FF5FJF is not just a challenge run, but an event for Child's Play! All money donated to the Fiesta goes straight to Child's Play, and here's the big kicker; if we raise $5000, the Fiesta's runner, RevenantKioku, will drop whatever he's doing and stream Final Fantasy 12 without stop TO COMPLETION.
Anyway, I myself am doing a Four Job Fiesta, Natural rules, and streaming it! I'm gonna be marathonning the game, not stopping until it finishes, so stop by throughout the day and watch me suffer! If I'm not burnt out on FFV by then, I'll likely do more runs and share any funny stories with you lot. Hell, you should check out RK's stream from the Four Job Fiesta page, he has the best final boss fight I've seen in a long time!
So come on, watch my stream here if you're so inclined! Participate! Post runs of your own! If you don't, at least I made the entire forum aware of a fun charity event.

I feel like the genocide path is the worst part of the game, at least until the very end. Then again, I guess given I did a pacifist route first and grew to love the characters it colors my perception.
Don't kill your friends, friends.

I wish I'd come back to Jul sooner, I've been making Mario Maker courses too! Gonna have to play everyone's!
These are the latest two I made, just yesterday.
One's an easy-ish athletic stage I was using to get back in the groove of things after a sickness.

And this one was one of my attempts at an autoscroller that isn't miserable. Not sure how well that turned out.

I've got a bunch more stages I've uploaded, but I didn't wanna just flood.

Making low-timer levels is a bit complicated, because the sped-up music naturally makes players rush and make more mistakes, so you need to either force them to slow down or account for them always rushing everywhere.
...
...It's interesting that you tried to advertise the level by bringing up the autoscroll, though, because the bulk of the level (underground)... isn't auto-scroll.
Yeah, I don't really feel the need to defend the autoscroll level; I don't like autoscroll very much and find it hard to work with, but I wanted to try and make one I'd like. I'd been waffling on what to do with that underground section for days and days but decided to just update it(it's a weeks-old level) and give it some checkpoints. It's not that great in the end, but I figured I'd at least see what people thought about it.

Interesting level with its split paths!
...
To be honest, I think the level's short and easy enough to not require the checkpoints?
As for the athletic level, I like to tend towards -more- checkpoints rather than less, and I love to put split paths in my levels. I admit I have a very bad habit of sticking baddies in boxes that I try to clearly mark, but it's just so fun!
As for the weird decision with the clouds, it's a combination of split-path syndrome and trying to compensate for player greed; the leaves in the boxes are staged powerups and as a result if you hit the boxes too fast/get there without a mushroom in play, you literally can't finish. Combine that with the stage originally being a World-style level as opposed to a 3-style level and you get a few slip-ups here and there. That's also why the lakitu is so pants-shittingly close to you when you fly up, a simple mistake on my part that I figured only I would have trouble with.
Thanks for the feedback in the end, I'll be incorporating it into my other levels. In fact, I have a castle level I plan on uploading tonight after I run it by my roommates for some testing.
When I get some time(posting at work right now) I'll play your levels and try to give a little feedback of my own!

I'm super excited for P-Doors because now I can actually make a SMW-style Ghost House and have it feel right!
...Whenever I get time between Bloodborne and Destiny and Pikmin 3...
