Yea... I don't really have any allergies at all... if I do, I probably don't know about them o_O

Yea... my favourite generation of Pokémon games is definitely the 4th generation, since it seems to be the most expansive so far ^_^

A couple of things I like about the fourth generation are:
* The Vs. Seeker returning - seriously, why didn't they use this in Emerald? They used it in Fire Red and Leaf Green...
* Poké Radar chaining - Used in conjunction with the dongle method and swarms, you can get over 400 Pokémon without trading or Pal Parking Pokémon ^_~
* A more expansive legendary storyline - in Red/Blue, there wasn't much of a legendary-based storyline, since there were only 5 legendaries to speak of -_-
* New Poké Balls - the Dusk Ball and Quick Ball, which are pretty good for catching Pokémon with a catch rate of about 60 or lower, and work well on many legendaries

The first generation seems rather lame now, considering how far we've come with the Pokémon series...
* No HM deleter - If you taught, say, Strength to your starter, it would be stuck with it forever unless you could trade it to a Generation II game
* No move relearner - If you caught a Pokémon at a high level in the wild, then you can't relearn certain moves for it
* No rematches with trainers - Yes, there was no Vs. Seeker, Match Call, or Phone in the first generation, so you had a fairly limited amount of money in the first game until you could run through the Elite Four repeatedly without using too many items >_>

Yea... older computers, like the Commodore 64, had a Shift Lock key instead, which would produce not only capital letters, but the shifted numbers/symbols too o_O

I believe that this is reminiscent of old typewriters, where the shift lock key would actually lock the typewriter into the upper position until you pressed Shift again >_>

Hey, does anyone else here watch Let's Plays on YouTube? ^_^

Some of my favourite LPers to watch on YouTube are Slowflake, HCBailly, and chuggaaconroy ^_^

Yea... it's disappointing how the only major forum systems commonly in use are Invision, vBulletin, phpBB, and SMF -_-

Does anyone remember IkonBoard or YaBB? (well, technically YaBB eventually evolved into SMF...)

Yea... I was out of Pokémon's target demographic even in 1998, but I still started to play it because of my sister ^_^

On my customized keyboard layout, I have all of the combining diacritics as well as various typographical symbols ^_^

It's cool how I can type stuff like ♥ or ☺ directly with my keyboard ^_~

Yea... AcmlmBoard is definitely my favourite board system so far... but out of the commonly-used ones, I prefer SMF for some reason... probably because it's far easier to work with than IPB or phpBB ^_^

Final Fantasy VI GBA is pretty awesome... for one thing, it has new ultimate weapons for each of the characters, and the new Dragon's Den and Soul Shrine ^_^

I never had Zelda III for the GBA, though ;_;

Yea, the "EAT/DRINK ME" in Alice in Wonderland inspired a lot of growth/shrinking items in video games, like the famous mushrooms in the Mario games ^_^

Also, I think the Mega and Mini mushrooms in New SMB was pretty much based off the idea of the Grow and Shrink monitors of Knuckles Chaotix ^_~

Last year, my area (along with much of the Northeast) had a major icestorm that knocked out power to much of eastern New York and New England o_O

However, I only had my power go out for less than an hour... lucky me ^_^

Yea... I remember that blackout... I didn't have power for most of the day o_O

At least my power almost never goes out here ^_^

Kuikkukari, I suggest that you stay away from board2... it's not very good at all, since Jul is much better ^_^

Yea, there was a faction split back in 2007, resulting in (initially) two boards forming: ||board and board2 (then Acmlm's Board II).

Later in 2007, factions split again, resulting in Jul (the board you're on now), splitting off from board2...

Disagreements with the staff at these boards resulted in these splits, and now ||board is defunct...

Yea, you really shouldn't bother waiting for a special ID like 666 or 777 >_>

Just register whenever you feel like it ^_^

I didn't bother registering for a couple of months, since I wasn't sure if I wanted to register here or not... in the end, I registered here anyway ^_^

Just out of curiosity... is it still possible to access Chris Houlihan's Room in Zelda III GBA, via Action Replay or hacking? It would be interesting if it were still hidden in the game, but inaccessible o_O
