For a while I was using random female names for my naming scheme but since I have way too many machines I save them for the most significant machines (like the ones for my web server, radio station, main desktop, etc.) and laptops just get something like "T61W2K" or variants

Another lousy millennium, heh Sadly I doubt we will have recovered enough by the year 3000 though (that is, if we don't get wiped out by aliens/climate/some kid with a time machine/etc.) for Futurama to be a reality but hey, it is in our DNA to be hunter-gatherers if all else fails, we will not give up no matter what

Nonetheless, I just hope my 2019 is decent or at least good

Sometimes I wonder if we've been living in a simulation all this time, and someone just set the difficulty to "Ultra Kaizo"? Either that or someone has been purposefully trying to destroy the world and isn't saving the game at all (reminds me of when I got a Game Over in FF6 once and it sent me back quite a ways, and decided "fuck it"... did eventually get back to where I was at least though)

You do have to realize though, that the Baby Boomers' time on Earth is finite, we could still be lucky and something buys us just enough time to pull off a 23rd hour deal to fix the climate and get the Earth back on track (or we eventually discover time travel or go faster than light, but don't hold your breath on either )

I do understand that millennials are ruining cigarettes but OTOH I consider that a good thing, considering cigarettes killed my aunt But OTOH I don't really consider vaping a good alternative unless you're using them to quit smoking

Even though I quit smoking 11 years ago, occasionally I get tempted to start again even to this day because of the state of the world over these past several years or longer At this point somehow I've given up on the world recovering at least while I'm still young, but OTOH maybe they'll figure out stuff like deaging or cryonics too? Trying to be optimistic can be hard at times

Wonder how many other people here have smoked or do smoke... I know I started when I was like 16 or so (I kinda blame celebrities TBH), quit back in 2008 (the late Taryn helped me ), haven't looked back in almost 11 years (even with bad news in the world/etc. as of late trying to tempt me)

As for non-tobacco smoking, I do smoke cannabis on occasion but I'm not a daily weed smoker like I used to be

Presenting to you, the Jul OpenRCT2 server! Featuring a few rides right now, with some underground paths and rides as well as a Poké Ball in the center court

To join in on the fun...
1. Install RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 from GOG, Steam or the original discs
2. Download OpenRCT2 and install the launcher (choose the "release" branch as my server uses that rather the development branch)
3. Point OpenRCT2 to your RCT2 installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 on Windows)
4. Optionally install RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 with Loopy Landscapes but this is not required
5. Run the game and click on the Multiplayer icon (the one with the globe) and select "Jul OpenRCT2 Server" (no more password required, just ping me in the chat or on Discord @DaNieLLe✿#8720)
6. Just like Mega Park says, Have fun!
