Yea, it's pretty much a standard feature of every board system to tell what members/guests are viewing a certain forum/thread ^_^

Almost every message board system, including AcmlmBoard, SMF, phpBB (among others), has this line. No need to be worried if you're browsing the Trash forum...

A long time ago, there was a member named "Ninja AE" who spammed the board after Tomguy (an ex-admin) banned him...

Ninja AE was infamous because he re-registered many times, flaming Tomguy, and even got his own scheme on AcmlmBoards (AE Torture), which remains to this day o_O

IIRC, Caboose used that term to refer to Ninja AE o_O

So, what do you think is the best version of Final Fantasy IV?

Among all versions, I prefer the SNES fan-translation the most... but among official releases, I really like the GBA version, despite its bugs >_>

I thought the DS version was too hard, and the original American SNES version (originally released as Final Fantasy II) wasn't very good either (come on, they removed quite a few features, like Cecil's Dark Wave attack and the translation sucked)...

From what I've heard, the PAL release of FF4 GBA fixed the bugs present in the American version, though ^_^

Cool, they kept the line "You spoony bard!" in the FF4 fan-translation ^_^

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining South Park and They Might Be Giants. The story should use Arbor Day as a plot device!

Weird, what does Arbor Day have to do with a cartoon and a band? o_O

Also, one annoying thing about the name "Mr. Mime" is that it can be either gender... this stems to the fact that Mr. Mime's Japanese name is "Barrierd", which has nothing to do with gender at all o_O

I guess Nintendo of America didn't think Pokémon would eventually have genders or something, back when they were creating names for the original 151 >_>

Yea, I'm going to dress up as Schala from Chrono Trigger, and just stay home and watch every Simpsons Halloween Special, as well as some horror movies ^_^

The last time I went trick-or-treating was back when I was 12 or 13... >_>

Yea, I don't really listen to the radio anymore, since there's almost no good radio stations -_-

And around here, the AC stations start playing Christmas music in mid-November... can't you wait until at least Thanksgiving weekend or December 1st? >_>

Another reason I can't stand most radio stations is because of shitty artists, like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry... seriously, Miley Cyrus should be banned from the radio >_<

I think out of everyone who registered in 2001 or 2002, only about 5 percent or less are still active to this day o_O

Off the top of my head, I can name Anya, Xkeeper, and Acmlm... but that's about it...

I first got Internet access when I was 14 years old... I remember when Usenet was still popular o_O

I also remember when sites on free hosts like Geocities, Tripod, and even Xoom were very common, with awful layouts and embedded MIDI files, animated GIFs, etc... >_>

Wow, I'm surprised I remember these old Fruitopia commercials with Kate Bush music ^_^

I really used to enjoy Fruitopia back in the day... I would always drink it when playing Final Fantasy VII ^_~

Yea... I don't play too many computer games that change the resolution, and I just use windowed modes for emulators anyway (of course, at 2x size, because 1x size is too small at 1920x1200) ^_^

Anyway, having a larger resolution really helps when working with large images or watching HD videos in full-screen...

Rest in peace, GeoCities... you will be (somewhat) missed...

GeoCities was one of the first free webhosts, I remember them back when I first started using the Internet in 1998...

Now that GeoCities is gone, I have a feeling that Angelfire and Tripod's days are also numbered... I also remember when Xoom died, back around 2000, when NBC bought it >_>

I used to use FreeWebs back in the day, though ^_^

I'm not going to bother with a 500 thread, though... -_-

I check online.php sometimes, but only to look for people who might be replying or starting new threads >_>

I don't do it as often, though... I just refresh the main page until a "NEW" marker comes up on a forum ^_^

Final Fantasy VIII... that game would give me fucking nightmares, because of its insane difficulty o_O

Seriously, I have to draw spells from enemies in order to get more casts of the spells? That's just about as tedious as fishing for Feebas in Pokémon games, or trying to evolve Tyrogue into the Hitmon you want -_-

At least I finally beat Final Fantasy VIII in 2005, and I will probably never go back to that game >_>

Also, Final Fantasy II and its shitty stat-up system... why do I need to harm my party members in order to get more HP, MP, and other stats? I think they should've just kept the level system from FF1...

On the other side, however, is Final Fantasy VII... my absolute favourite RPG ^_^ Everything about it is awesome... the characters, the music, and the graphics... ♥

SNES9x is better for many reasons... for one thing, it doesn't choke on some ROM hacks... and SNES9x seems to have better accuracy in terms of graphics and sound ^_^

For example, when playing J2E's Final Fantasy IV fan-translation on ZSNES, you get an extra blank line at the bottom of the text box that isn't there in SNES9x... also, Chrono Trigger's sound effects are more accurate on SNES9x than ZSNES ^_~

IIRC, ZSNES also doesn't like Kirby's Avalanche, as it just fails to boot up and says "SPC700 STALL DETECTED" at the Nintendo screen...

I switched from SNES9x to ZSNES around 2006 or so, and went back to SNES9x fairly recently ^_^
