| The Mini-Boss theme from Sonic & Knuckles is my favorite piece of music in general. My favorite game composers are Hirokazu Tanaka, Jun Ishikawa, Dave Wise, and SEGA's early 90s sound team. |

Originally posted by Acmlm ;Holy crap. Yeah, same thing happened to me when I played as a girl character on there, but not that extreme. Thing is, I just like the way girls look, and I don't mean that in a perverted way. They just naturally look nicer (well... uh...). The way I see it, video games are supposed to be entertaining, so I enjoy playing as a female character. But yeah, that's not the best idea when it comes to online games. I found that out the hard way. |

| My friend and I always blare Kannon's Klaim (Mines theme from DKC2) in his car loud enough for people to hear. It's really fun. His favorite Wise song is Krook's March (Castle theme) while mine is Forest Interlude. |

| I can hear Krook's March in my head. Hopefully I'll write as good as I did yesterday/last night. |

But I try not to act like a damned slob about it. >>; Plus, I don't just randomly flirt with girls I don't know. Do these people not even think about how that girl may feel about that? Or worst case: Do they not realize it may not be a girl (kidding, kidding. I know this isn't worse than the latter)? XD (edit) Retarded post has been edited. |

| Oh wow. I see. Mis-worded post was mis-worded. Everyone relax. This isn't world war three. Obviously I know not all guys are like that. I meant that towards the type of people in the quotes. |

Holy shit no! I have nothing against homosexuals. Like I said, that was a misprint. I just dislike that sort of behavior. That had nothing to do with homosexuals at all. The reference was for my sake, not anyone else's. Goodness. ; |

| Yeah, sorry about all of that. ^^; When I saw all of the stuff in that quote, I overreacted as well and rushed my point. So, it kind of impaired my posting judgement. I'll try and contain myself a little. But in conclusion, I don't have anything against homosexual people, I don't think all guys are terrible, I just strongly dislike when guys act in such a manner as what was quoted. So... How is everyone doing tonight? ^^; |

Actually, while we're on the topic: It's funny that you all called me out for that, when in all actuality, I'm currently writing a screenplay in which two of the main characters are homosexuals. One guy and one girl. So, obviously that isn't a bothersome case for me. The story deals heavily with sexuality in general. What's weird is that I plan to have it adapted to a video game. Been working on it for eight years now. It's quite amazing, according to all of the feedback I've gotten. ![]() |

You guys would love the characters I use. I've become quite an expert in sexuality in the past few years (I've researched it heavily). My characters aren't stereotypical at all. I even interviewed a few of my gay friends about how I was going about it, and they were quite impressed. ![]() Actually, the girl in my avatar is the main character (Her name, pun intended, is Minnie Moog), but she's a self-proclaimed asexual. The two people who tag along with her are the boy and girl. The girl is love with her, but she doesn't actually find out until towards the end of the game. Fortunately the game is mostly a dark comedy, so I get away with making light of a lot of the serious situations while still making my point, so it should be a pretty pleasant experience for those who can stomach how absurd and dark it is. |

I've always been an old-school side-scrolling type of guy (Sonic, Kirby, Mario etc.). The game would have 3D graphics, but I want to use a very stylistic approach. It would be completely on a side-scrolling plain and the game would progress level to level (my attempt to bring back that old-school style) with no backtracking. It would combine first-person shooter elements (being able to aim anywhere on screen, etc.), puzzle elements on occasion, small RPG elements here and there, and very fast paced action and platforming. I want the game on the same intensity level the classic Sega Genesis Sonic games had (and notably, my favorite game of all time is Sonic 3 & Knuckles, so the game's progression style is very similar in nature to my game's). However, I'm writing the story to have the emotional level of games such as Mother 3. I've always been a very strong writer, so I'm drafting the entire game as a screenplay right now and have been for two years now (it's 180 something pages and I'm only 3/4 done). I'm a huge fan of surrealist, absurdist, and dark/gothic styles of writing, so the game has a very poetic form of dialogue and I'm pushing the term 'art game' to the edge with a bunch of tricks I have up my sleeves. ![]() |

Originally posted by Treeki Nah, I mean, you wouldn't be flying through loops or anything, but I just want it to give off the same euphoria. I'd say it'd also be on par with games like Megaman, which I'm also a huge fan of. Right now I'm more focused on the story though, and believe me, the story is complex as heck. I'm having to keep up with a lot. And whenever I work on the screenplay I have to have at least one or two notebooks near me to help me keep everything organized and on the right track. It's awesome. This is due to the fact that other than the serious topics I'm exploiting, I'm writing the game in a sort of mystery/conspiracy fashion and mixing slight sci-fi (SLIGHT, as in: No geek-squad material here) and surrealistic elements together. Picture Killer 7's plot-line, but actually making sense in the end. I plan to make sure the plot is clear at the end of the game, but I want it too spread about and jigsawed before the game's ending so that the player can't expect the outcome. This will make for one heck of ending worth getting to. ![]() (edit) She's right. We should probably start... not talking about this. I get too excited when someone takes an interest. XD |

| Uh... Can you give us a little more information? Can you help us by explaining your band a little? I mean, honestly, if you think you need a vocalist, get one. If not, don't. Isn't it that simple? |

| Obligatory answer: Games that are terrible. No, but usually Super Smash Bros. Any of them. I play against a friend of mine who brags about being good, and makes fun of me when I lose, and I'm far more serious about playing the game against him than he is me, so I get REALLY PO'd when I play that game and do even slightly bad. What's funny is the fact that he only does that to me because he knows it ticks me off, but won't brag about himself or make fun of anyone else playing. ![]() |
