Awesome game that a friend of mine and I just recently released, but I don't want you guys to think I'm simply advertising. I'm wondering where and if I can post a thread for an indie game of my own creation, with info and all. We're looking for feedback, and forums are a great source of such. So again, is this alright and where should I place such a thread?

The only Capcom Zelda I ever played was Minish Cap, and I recall liking it as far as I remember. I'm all for this. The 2D Zelda games are still strong and always have been.

Yes, the human-sized toy on the left is my human-plush named 'Rutherford Jenkins'. Thanks for all realizing right away that I'm the sexy one. I purposefully didn't specify to see who'd get it right. (edit) ![]() ![]() ![]() After Rutherford got out of the shower today. Oh crap. I forgot. This thread is for YOU, not your friends. Hm. Sorry mods.

Upon approval by the mods, I am bringing you all a game I and a friend of mine have developed. Please download this game and support us by telling your friends and encouraging downloads! If you have any questions, please ask. While the game IS a finished product, we can still re-release the game in newer versions with any bug fixes and such. HIGHSCORE ![]() Developed by Psyynthetic Labs ================================================== Genre: Puzzle, Platforming, Action File size: 23 MB Resolution: 800 x 600 GM Version: 7.0 Pro *Note: The file size is large because this game contains extra mini-games, and also happens to be a seriously large game in itself. It is afterall, a full adventure... So please be understanding. ================================================== Spoiler Free - Plot Summary: The player controls Sam, a character of an unspecified gender, who has mysteriously washed ashore on a very small and empty island. On this island, there is only a large shack. Inside this shack are many arcade-games. Sam learns that in order to leave the island, Sam must pass (or, beat) the highscore of an arcade game entitled, "Psychopath". However, Sam will also be uncovering the mysteries behind the lone shack as he/she makes headway through Psychopath's complex levels. General Information: Highscore is the product of over a year and half's worth of work. Created by two individuals who had too much time on their hands, Highscore is a very full adventure that includes at least six hours to eight hours of game play. The game's engine is smooth and unique, combining aspects of first-person shooters, puzzle games, and classic platforming games all into one. The game contains graphics that purposefully resemble the work of a deranged child to help boost the game's off-putting atmosphere. The soundtrack, though midi, is comprised of all original pieces. The in-game text was precisely written with care (well, the subject matter was. Please forgive any slight grammar or spelling mistakes for now). The platforming is aimed at the extreme, the puzzles are balanced throughout, and the combat requires fast-thinking. We (designers Nathan Ball and Ben Cochrane) very much hope you will enjoy Highscore, despite how confused it may leave you in the end. The game is, after all, very mysterious by nature. Starting Controls: ASWD - Movement Spacebar - Jump Left Mouseclick - Execute/Select Enter - Pause END - Options Menu HOME - Progress Menu The remainder of the controls are revealed and explained within the game. Just make sure to stop and read the signs that say 'INFO' on them. Trust me, most of them are hilarious anyway. ================================================== SCREENSHOTS: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] ================================================== DOWNLOAD LINKS: DropBox (Dropbox) Also play without downloading here: GMArcade Please rate the game on GMArcade with the link above! ================================================== BASIC CREDITS: Nathan Ball (Hey, that's me!) - Story, Director, Artist, Musician, Designer Ben Cochrane - Programming, Designer, Tester, and a lot more programming than it already seems - Background Artist, Supporting Melodies

I have yet to see this film. I've wanted to see it for quite sometime now, but I know no one who would be willing to watch it with me. ![]() |
