Well, this weekend I LP'd Mega Man, sucking horribly at it the whole way. Over the last month or so, I've been LPing two games: Shining Force II and Traysia, the former a popular SRPG for the Genesis and the latter an under appreciated (and largely unheard of) RPG, also for the Genesis.
I sporadically pick up Disgaea PSP at times, too, but not often enough to say I'm actually playing it...

I just posted me playing Anticipation for the NES from last night. Fun little puzzle/party game, it's like a combination of Connect the Dots and Win, Lose, or Draw. I think it may also count as the first console party game, too, as up to four players can play in the same game. Supposedly fun for the whole family!

I don't understand it at all, but this is my favorite so far, if only for the foreward of the book.
Edit: this one's good, too.

Despite the Knight part of my name, I've always been partial to Archers, which anyone who follows my Shining Force II videos would already know. I think it's the entire idea of a support character that deals damage indirectly, rather than attacking directly or adding status.
Although the Archers in the Might and Magic series also learn Sorcerer Spells, and can typically still equip the heavier melee weapons. On the other hand, the Archers in Tactics Ogre games suck. I guess you just have to take what you can.

I just picked up this old NES game to refamiliarize myself with the controls before recording myself playing it. Code Name: Viper is one of the two NES games my dad would always play; the other being Dr. Mario. This game is basically Capcom's answer to Tengen's Rolling Thunder.
I suck at it, though. 8 levels to the game, and I'm stuck at level 4 on EASY. It's still a fun game, at least compared to Rolling Thunder...

Well, my backloggery should say it now (since I just updated it), but I've at this moment got four games on the Let's Play burner:
Shining Force II on Super
Shining Force I
Sword of Vermilion
Phantasy Star IV May 30th Prototype
Shining Force II and Phantasy Star IV are going to get updated much more often than the other two. Sword of Vermilion I'm the most sketchy about doing, since it was a whim that made me start it, and now I kind of regret it. Anywho, when I have time to make recordings of any of them, that's what I'm playing.

WTF are you doing in GA?!?!
Likely reason: the hub at Nashville, Tennessee lumps all of the Georgia and Florida packages into the same truck and sends it first to the Doraville, Georgia hub to be processed there. From there, it'll get sent to a hub in Florida, where it'll be put into a Brown truck to be delivered to you.
I hate that I know all this.

Based entirely on observation, I doubt NSNick needs any advice when it comes to drinking.

I already teeter this side of crazy (in real life, anyways), so that's a definite, resounding 'no' to any forme of alcohol.
Never tasted, and don't really care to try.

Oh, that was just for the box to ship the 360 back for repair/replace? Do you have to ship the machine back through UPS?
I hope not, since it's already broken enough as it is. No need to further traumatize it by going through that sloppy, inefficient, and altogether harmful shipping system...

Gee, I wish there was a better, hassle-free way to edit this video the way I want it...
Isn't there ANY music fitting to a Training Montage-type video for Shining Force Two that's about 5 minutes long?

UPS is supposed to leave packages at leasing offices when the person isn't home to sign for it. At least, here they do. Why they didn't is anybody's guess, but I would chalk it up to being the typical, sloppy UPS that we all know and hate.

HIALEAH,

This sounds standard. First stop is the nearest Distribution Center to the UPS store you drop it off at. From there it heads to a central hub for the area, which should sort the package to the appropriate truck and let it be on its way. I don't know how the Hubs operate in Florida, but here in Columbus, if the package is going out of state to a far enough location (ground only), it all gets sorted to the same truck, in which the trailer is loaded onto a train and heads to that state's central Hub, where from there it gets sorted to individual Distribution Centers and delivered via Brown Trucks.
This is to say, not foolproof. Towards the end of a shift, any package could wind up anywhere, and there is usually a 'Cache' truck which takes most Out-of-State ground packages, and will make stops as needed to get the packages sent to the proper locations.

If the next stop after Hialeah was Orlando, then yes, that would probably happen. UPS does not typically have any sort shifts on weekends. This likely means it won't be departing for out of state until this evening.
It's the consequences of shipping at the end of the week/shipping ground rather than air.

Mesquite->Dallas->Mesquite->Mesquite
This tells me that Mesquite is the appropriate location it was supposed to be delivered to, but got scanned into a truck that was going to Dallas instead (this is called a misload). It gets to Dallas, and gets sorted back to the truck going to Mesquite, which is the location it's supposed to be going to in the first place.
This one's the kicker though. At the hub I work at (Columbus, Ohio), we have a truck called Columbus TDP, which takes all of the flow that is supposed to be distributed from our hub. When that truck is full (or it's the end of the night), the truck goes all the way around to the other side of the building where it gets unloaded again and loaded onto Brown Trucks for actual delivery. If I had to guess, that's what happened there at the end (only logical conclusion I can come up with).
