| I don't know the answer to that question, but what I do know is that I am the Thug, though I won't be doing anything special this round, either.
And killing me won't help, as I am part of the count of bystanders (non-Mafia/Godfather). Kill me, and the ratio becomes 2:7, meaning one less night round than you had before! Let's see what you people say to that! ____________________ |

| Now, I haven't said anything here about this, but I've decided to break into a sort of Let's Play type of thing... only problem is that I can't find a way to make Fraps or CamStudio record both sound outputted from the emulator and inputed from the microphone. I can get either, but not both. This isn't exactly preferred behavior, but I don't know what to do to remedy it.
I know Fraps is capable of it, though, as before going out to buy a headset, the built-in mic was able to record along with the outputted sound at the same time, I just had to put my face right next to the mic (which is right over the screen of this laptop). This won't do while trying to play a game. ChazDragoon on YouTube put up a tutorial on CamStudio not too long ago, but it doesn't help, as his instructions are for using it on XP, and I'm using Vista. Also, I get an error about WaveOut or somesuch when I try to configure it to record from speakers. CamStudio simply won't record in-game audio at all... Anybody know anything on this subject? ____________________ |

| I'm not too sure of doing it that way, though, as to me, commentary after the fact doesn't seem genuine. I don't want to sound the way Cloud8745 sounded when he did his playthrough of Final Fantasy X International. When he did that, he was watching his recording and adding commentary afterwards, which sounded really dumb because he wasn't doing the things he was saying he was doing...
I'm not saying I would sound like that, but that doesn't mean it won't happen... I suppose I can remedy that by saying it's an after-action commentary, though I still don't like that too much... I'll keep it in mind, though. Edit: Gah, ninja'd by Xk. I take it you mean record audio separately and at the same time using the two different methods? I thought about that, but then I considered the sync issues... D'you suppose it's be that bad? ____________________ |

| OoBurns: The actual error is "WaveoutGetSelectControl() failed." I notice in my recording tab that when the microphone is set to default device, WaveOut Mix becomes "currently unavailable", and vice versa. I still get the error when WaveOut Mix is set to default, though...
I will look to see if there are other drivers out there, though... Xkeeper: I will definitely keep this as an option. If all else fails, I will go with it. edit: Well, I downloaded Multiquence from Goldwave. Outside of the fact that it's kind of a pain to sync it properly, this should work. I have the first video with actual commentary created (though I don't know if I want to keep it or not...), from this point forward, I should be able to record gaming with commentary... ____________________ |

| The end of Summer means I'll soon get to start my computertraining.com classes. I'm just about 4 months away from my first Microsoft Certification...
Maybe then I can get out of working at UPS... Also, the end of Summer means the end of freaking hot weather. This is something I've been waiting for since we skipped over Spring after the last Winter... ____________________ |

| This sounds like the perfect thing for students to take with them to class to take notes with. Lightweight and highly portable, it seems to be the perfect solution for classroom note-taking.

| Hi, Thug here. No, it's not time that I actually do anything yet, but I just thought I should pop in and let people know I am paying very close attention tot his thread and other like it, except between the hours of 10PM and 4AM Eastern, as well as between 7AM and 3PM Eastern. The first is when I'm working, the second is when I'm sleeping.
If I don't respond to anything during those hours, well, you know why. Anyways, have fun not finding any Mafia due to a total lack of information. Remember, never believe a word anybody says!
