So during a two-hour demostration/ramble from my dad on his family ancestry research my eyes catch onto information from a Word document that it may be possible that not one, but two ancestors on my maternal side, sailors at that, may have jumped ship and entered Australia illegally in the late-19th century.

One hadn't been found in the twenty years since he entered, the other said he'd jumped ship near Sydney.

Snark incoming, but it's ironic how little right-wingers tend to care about showing how much they care about this country, and it's likely because they were moved up through the school system instead of being held back simply out of pity/white people helping white people... and no one else.

That aside, I simply cannot wait for when the 2020 election goes into full swing and people fall for the same stupidity as last time, except instead of emails, it's the shutdown.

Like Je-SUS conservatives, moderates, et. al, most of those idiots failed to see a good choice for president when the pool was otherwise littered with crap 3rd party options at best, I highly doubt these so-called "intellectuals" have actually learned much.

Not going to lie, but I highkey miss how much Nintendo made their commercials stand out, for better or for worse in terms of the game's sales success. I can only remember a handful of commercials for other systems, like the creepy PS3 baby, and I vaguely remember seeing the infamous Jaguar commercial when I was 3 or 4, also Crash Bandicoot ads in general. Meanwhile, when I think of Nintendo's ads over the years, I remember the Gameboy Color lips, the Animal Crossing ads, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Smash 64, Pokemon Red/Blue/Crystal, the Mario Party ad where Mario straight-up gets arrested... it's endless. I simply love the experimental style it took in those days. It's as though Nintendo of America wanted to make commercials to remember, even if it was some of the most fucked up commercials out there. Some of them really haven't aged well, now that I've since decided to take a good look at the N64 era in particular. Others are still amazing, like the commercials for Battletanx.

So... what's your take?

Gonna do a run back to the local indie game store after dinner- think I might have spotted one or two from your list there.

Balderdash you got Lode Runner though, they happened to have that.

And double balderdash, I also want Boulder Dash.

Edit: Snagged Rocketeer, Legend of the Diamond, and Harlem Globetrotters in-box. Will look at the carts themselves when I get home, but since the boxes are fairly pristine after 30-so years, things are looking good.

Edit 2: All carts are in pristine condition, and have extra goodies inside! All for a little over $50.
