Reminds me of the wholedebacle I've gotten myself into in regards with the CA DMV and my town's post office. Namely, I had went there all the way in October to get an ID, and for whatever reason, instead of printing out the ID and handing it to you like how it's done in Illinois and, really, the sane way of doing it, it had to go through the mail, and given I'm the only one in this house with a different surname, along with the knowledge that apparently there was a new person working at the post office (which is a tiny building that maybe employs 5 people at most), it's certainly possible that the delivery was killed with less than five feet to go to its destination (bonus points, we don't have mailboxes here, only PO Boxes).

And then I didn't go back to fix it until now, about a month before my current IL ID expires because
