I'm still trying to figure out what I need to get MiniSM back in a "I can work on it" state. I coded myself into a dead end, as usual.

I think I need to first of all make the "measure drawing code" less hard-coded and more customizable... I should just sit down one day and work on it, bleh.

Well, with only one leader (meaning board = dictatorship) nothing of the sort should happen.

That's how it used to be (and it worked well), but blackhole89 didn't like it so whoopeeeeee.

I don't forsee anything similar happening here, and considering the userbase is mostly people I consider fully qualified to be AWESOME™ I don't really see a need to do much.

Good god, I can't even remember the last time I had over 75 posts in a day...

I think I did it a total of *once* on AB2, and that was really straining to make them (i.e. really lowering the bar of quality)

Here, I'm just posting normally and even coming up with bad jokes and other nonsense for things!

Reminds me haven't played nearly enough ROM hacks, some that I feel I should've.
I stopped playing them once I realized the novelty of replacing Mario with some other character was pretty dumb.

Granted, the "Super Link Bros" at least did a half-decent job of it (fireballs were even miniatue swords that flew straight), but it's still the same crap.

Most ROM hacks these days are more for the "technically amazing" factor other than, you know... fun.

I'm sure we will, but even if we do, if we can manage a minimum level of activity, everything will be fine.

It's really the "minimum post level" I'm worried about -- you can't have a forum about nothing (what this basically is) and expect it to survive if it goes below that point.

But so far, I'd say we're doing well. If I can get some things done, we might do even better.
