This just makes it official, and made N/A into "Other / N/A", so it's at least slightly less binary now. In the future, maybe it will be replaced with a "choose your own name color, smarty pants" feature.

E: For now, it still affects grouping in the Memberlist sort options, but that particular choice is going to get removed eventuallyâ„¢.

As someone who is very, uh, affected by gambling bullshit: Loot boxes in general are very much made to trigger the same responses that gambling does. And it fucking sucks.

I was hoping that people would use it somewhat seriously, but at least that one isn't terrible, I guess.

One solution is to just have the ability to pick from a few set colors (maybe 8 or so?) but allow someone to set their own color later on.

There's also the problem of color schemes, since there are a handful of dark-on-light schemes, where usual name colors wouldn't work.

That's a good point ... it's just difficult to unlearn that sort of behavior when everyone prefers the term "being lazy" instead

(Also, you're a clinician?)

It's original quality was that it was a doorstopper in the shape of a GBA cartridge, and so much of the story and plot and progression was completely nonsensical. Nevermind the fact that the series folds in on itself in the second half.

There's a LP of the two games that is very good and does an amazing job at ripping apart all the ways the story is terrible.

I've been working on this for a while.

Now you can turn it back into a ROM.

Still a lot of work to go. If you have any suggestions on new labels or names for things, please let me know; I can update the main disassembly file.

A lot of places already have on-campus cops. I know my highschool did and that was over 15 years ago.

The problem isn't the gun free zone.

E: To give you an idea, the Vegas shooter was in a hotel full of very armed guards and it still took minutes for anything to be done.

I am a firm believer that T-Spins and SRS in general are terrible, terrible things to have happened to Tetris.

It is not much. Most of the work is done automatically by just playing the game, using FCEUX to make a code and data log (to know what is what), and then poking some values here and there with some formatting.

It is a far cry from, say, the Mario 1 or Mario 3 disassemblies, which are for the most part well-documented and commentated. This is the beginning of that.

It went okay. They cancelled it and said they would get it backdated so I get a refund on it.

But that I might get the multi-car discount backdated, too, which is fine. I can't imagine that it will eat the entire refund I should get, and will certainly still be cheaper than insuring two vehicles.

Does Stardew Valley multiplayer count?

I don't really keep on top of gaming much any more to know if there's anything good coming out soon, otherwise..

More updates today. The assembly is now byte-for-byte identical to the original game, by using .db xx xx xx for instructions that are not supported. (The correct instruction is added as a comment in the disassembly.) You can turn on the other behavior of using proper zero-page accesses by removing a flag from build.bat, namely -d_COMPATIBILITY_.

Also, the disassembly is now capable of building a byte-for-byte identical version of PRG1 / REV-A, too.
It is on a separate branch for now while I continue to work on the main pre-split assembly. Revision A mostly fixes a bug involving the Fryguy boss, where under certain conditions you can softlock the game. (There is also another small fix with PAL consoles that displayed only a blank screen for the bonus game.)

More updates to come...
