SMRPG: The Bob-omb Mafia

Description:
Bowser's last deal with the so-called Bob-omb Mafia has left him empty-handed: the four koopa shells that belong to him still remain in the mafia's hands. Bowser has kidnapped the princess and is holding her for a ransom--it's Mario's task to fulfill the mafia's end of the bargain and acquire Bowser's shells to rescue the princess.

I dunno if I'm so hot on the idea of installing the editor and adding yet another exception to my firewall just to download this hack, as I have no interest in hacking SMRPG. I understand you want people to try out the editor, but I don't think forcing them to download hacks through it is the best way to go about doing that.

Hey, pretty cool hack. I just have a few issues (I used ZSNES 1.51):

The town is laggy.
Baba Yaga's fight seems really messed up. He taunts every turn (but he only attacked once), and seems a bit too far up on the battlefield. His text messages flicker when this happens. He also taunted before he died.
Why do the Good Pants/Shirt sell for so much?
Red Thwomp's attack sound effect is very weird. When you hurt him enough, the text line says "THOWMP: OUCH."
"Wallow"?
Attempting to select equipment in the equip menu often (but not always) causes a freeze unless you first unequip the equipment which the appropriate user already has equipped. If no one can equip the equipment (if you do not have the appropriate member) will also cause a freeze. The Metal Cymbals must be equipped very quickly, or the game will freeze. Generally, this menu needs work.
It froze once after I beat the Belome swap fellow (I forget his name) after the "the FUCKING BOMBS" line. I rewound and it loaded fine.
It really needs a decent guideline on who's strong and who's not. While the Belome swap was not a problem to fight, Vadim was ridiculous and throttled me. It also froze after the game over.
If you go back to the forest and go deep into it, you get stuck. The trampoline which returns you to the surface after defeating Baba Yaga is not there.

I'll play more later.

Odd, I never got this bug. :/

Strange. Meh

I found this hack interesting, and a good way to show off what the editor can do. For what it was suppose to be it did a good job, it just needs a bugfix or three.

That's a bug with the normal game. It's either the ROM or ZSNES. Probably ZSNEs, because I doubt a game freezing bug like that would be in a SNES game. A similar bug also happens on the 2nd trip to Bowser's Keep where it freezes just before you get there.

Also, this hack seems like it would be fun to play. I'll try it out.
