- Some lady decides to walk in and purchase something after we've already closed the doors. She opened them manually. Argh.
- - similarly, I had to turn one away as I was walking out.
Not the first time that's happened, if I recall correctly. |

I can imagine someone trying the second one (trying to get in at the last moment?) but the first one is... I dunno, sounds rude. :\

Actually one of the cashiers that work in the front was fuming just a little.
- While putting up bread, I'll constantly have people ask me if "the bread's fresh."
- - THen they feel the bread itself, before putting it in a different spot than where it belongs.

| Thank god I'm not in retail anymore!!! The horror stories that I experienced from that place. And hopefully I will never get into retail ever again. The people that one has to deal with in retail is not worth it. Don't people know that's its better to treat people with respect and to be calm about matters. Being pissy doesn't help any situation and in most cases makes it worse.

I could start telling stories about stupid things at work but it would take too long.
As in HOURS. And I'd be missing details as well. (Since I don't work in retail, I can't exactly complain about customers but give me a soapbox and I will.)
To be fair, someone today asked me if New Mexico was part of the United States. No, not a cardholder - an agent.
(I think she just blanked out for a second, she's actually a pretty cool girl.)

If our IT department had to work on logical BSOD's, they'd likely be understaffed.
(Hell, they ARE understaffed and always have been but that's besides the point. I'd like to come in one day with a CHOICE of PC's, not just one.)

I've seen people grab high-volt capacitors before.
Needless to say, they don't have a choice but to hang on until it's fully discharged. That'll teach you.

I work at the sales and service desk when I get hours (which is unfortunately few at the moment) at a vacuum cleaner shop (That sells Kirby Vacuums, amusingly enough).
I once had a lady bring in a Kirby for a repair because she'd vacuumed up an entire beehive. It was quite possibly the most grotesque smell of rotting insect guts and honey I have ever experienced. |

Haha, that must be fun to watch, assuming it's mostly harmless Definitely a good deterrant.
I have enough problems opening up some doors because I keep getting shocked. I must be a fucking capacitor or something.

I work at a pool teaching kids to swim. My co-worker came in with a bikini for work once and I knew we'd have trouble from the moment I saw it... Well the practices went fine and dandy. Nothing really happened except for some stupid boy who commented on her bust size... *facepalm* Other than that I figured she'd make it out alive and that my original assumption was wrong.
Towards the end of practice we decided to play game so she goes to dive in and what do ya know, but the top unties and she doesn't notice. The kids are laughing and I'm staring. I knew I should have been helping but... well... Once in a life time... Anyway, she hid her chest against the wall at the other end of the pool and after I 'snapped out of it' I dove in and got her the missing suit piece. She was quite embarrassed, but we continued the game like nothing happened.

Normally I would comment about how somebody could not notice that part of their clothing came off, but then again I've managed to lose a pair of goggles I had just pulled above my eyes |

Well she lost it mid-dive. Being a swimmer, I know that even tight goggles can be lost during a dive and the owner won't notice until the moment he starts to swim. I've had it happen a few times actually. I guess the same principle applies here but even more so since it's not the like breasts would get irritated by the chlorine as the eyes do.

I work in a supermarket and also get that kinda of stuff pretty often.

Pretty hilarious, though. XD
