Wow activity on this board is rising like mad, almost like the old Acmlm board level of mad  . Anyway I'm definitely not happy with Nintendo's online services. It's almost impossible to do anything with friends online and I don't even have the majority of my friend's friend codes. I also have no idea what my friend code is so if anyone ever asks me for it I can't tell them and then I usually take about month before I finally remember to check and see what it is. It's almost like you have to go and create business cards with all of your friend codes on them so that you can give them out to your friends. And about shovelware, I can't stand all of the crap that is coming out for the Wii and then seeing the PS3 and Xbox 360 get cool games such as the new Sega Collection. Even some games for the Wii that look like they're going to be good turn out bad (I find that Sonic and the Secret Rings falls under this category).

I mean, friend codes WERE a good idea (get a friend's, play with just a select group)... but once they were required for individual games, locked to one DS, and shit... blah. :|
I might only grab a DSi for homebrew at this point... The DS is doing loads better than the Wii, at least, but... I have a bit of a bad feeling about it.

It seems like at least one of the limitations was pointless, though.
Console-only or cartridge-only would have been fine, but not both... I'm locked out of MKDS thanks to that shit.
