I'm not even exactly sure what defines shovelware, to be honest.

I'd imagine it'd be crappy and cheaply made/ripped off games, myself...

Basically shovelware is a game made quickly to just gain money.

Like Carnival Games or anything that rips off Wii Sports.

Sadly people fall for it.

Last ones I got were Wario Land Shake It!! and Call of Duty World at War.

CoD5 was good but it's a shame it doesn't have splitscreen multiplayer. Reason is that it's running off a modified CoD4 engine on the Wii. Having two engines displaying at once isn't possible for Wii.

There was an article about that game! Aparrently the director originally wanted it on the XBox 360 and PS3.

Halfway into development, SEGA says HOLY SHIT! THE WII PRINTS MONEY! MAKE THIS GAME FOR THE WII INSTEAD.

No budget increase, no time extension, nothing. They had to scrap everything and start over from the beginning.

Now you know why it sucks.

I'm so fucking glad the Wii was sold out everywhere around Christmas 2006.

Else I'd have not gotten my PSP, which... basically kicks its ass.
