I've never had any issues with it. Sony on the other hand...laggy and slow as hell.


*pause* Course, I really don't play online with the Wii or DS. I've done it before and it wasn't that bad.

For some games you just need your game code. For some things (like exhanging Brawl stages and pictures) you need both.

I understand how they want kids to be safe from all the dicks that are out there (likes the ones on Live and PsN) but still, let people who use the Wii to have their own name/ID and don't have it for the games!!! Maybe invite only or friend only, so that way you don't have to deal with playing with people who curse all the time while playing.

It's the hassle of getting it to work togehter. Early games required you log in/out several times to get it to work, there's no way to add a friend across multiple games, and it's locked down something fierce.

Yeah - Isn't the general idea of multiplayer being able to meet new people online anyways?

Mario Kart Wii did it way better, but could still use improvement :/

Honestly, this. Just give the Wii an account setting, a "Protection level" (Friends only, Anonymous, All), and allow people to make their own decisions.

As it is, you're basically locked into the most strict settings; want to find that great player you just had a game with so you can have more fun? Fuck you!
