When you have enemies attacking you from the otherside, how do you get over there?

Straight through: You take the most obvious, straightforward path that most people would expect to get to the otherside very quickly, though, most of the enemies would also take this route, so You'd have to be careful.

Around: Taking the not so obvious paths. Any doors that don't take you straight through and won't have as much enemies, but isn't a strange way...

Secret Ways: The secret way that you would expect no one else to use, like Glitching your way on a roof and jumping from roof to roof, or using secret underwater passages.

I take secret ways that involve hard-to-use glitches. That way nobody fires at me and I can steal their flag easily. Glitching back in, however, is another story...

I go around. The less used path is the best.

I bruteforce, the only things I care for are the things in the middle of the way of me and my goal. And most can be shot down.

And then I of course occasionally take the sneaky way to surprise people, but mostly brute force.

I use the secret way to appear in the middle of the other "around" paths and kill everyone there by surprise. Then use the empty hall to go another secret way closer to my goal and repeat as many times as necesary, staying away from the straightfoward path unless necesary though.

If it's capture the flag, I take it to a secret way first to then drop in the other paths confusing my enemies to finally lure the rest to the "main" path where a tank or something with a similar effect can fit and be effective.

Now if I'm the one being attacked... I'll do the same. But instead of trying to get through the not so obvious paths, I go through the main path where there won't be as much defense.

In a game where you have unlimited lives/respawns I usually run right through just for the heck of it. If I have to be more conservative then I'll usually put more thought into my strategy

When I would play Halo CTF, I would normally go around as best I could, then try and brute force my way to the flag and back out. I'm really a mix.

Depends on my mood. If I feel a bit easy-going and unpressured, I'd probably try to find some way around to get to point B. If I'm feeling... I don't know, pumped/frustrated/gambling-like, I'd be more inclined to just blast my way through linearly.
