Luck is so double-edged.

I got pulled over doing 70 in a 55 this morning. No ticket.

Ended up starting out with me pulling out in front of this car with probably a 3-4 second gap. At the point of trying to keep up the pace, I gunned it with some stick-shift skill and got myself up to what I thought was 65. I was late and already dealt with plenty of assholes on the road already.

Well it turned out that I had pulled out and maintained that speed in front of that cop for a solid 30 seconds. The blue and whites were a nice indicator of that.

So basically at that point I'm going 'Aw fuck...he got me', turn-signaled, broke slowly, off the side of the road, hands on the wheel til asked otherwise, yes sir no sir thank you sir, etc.

Must've said everything right because the minute I saw those blue and whites the dollar signs were going through in my head and my bank account was a lower number.

I ended up being 4 minutes late though.

I also topped off my fluids yesterday. (brake fluid, antifreeze - 70/30, oil; myself)
