Get all the doujin games you lost and play the shit out of them...I know DJS got a torrent out for it not too long ago...

Anyways, this week's going to be lousy. Our lead guy was out this morning with his mother in the hospital. I got a call just an hour ago and it sounds like she didn't make it so he won't be in the rest of the week...so guess who gets to play head dick for five days at least?

Worse yet is the fact that they're aiming to cut our hours back to lose overtime...

At this rate I'm probably going to have another "old system" VM running with my old laptop data.

To say there's some weird shit on that laptop would be an understatement... BMF was just browsing the directories and was finding a lot of weirdass programs from the previous owners

Ought to look through it with something like GetDataBack just for kicks. One wonders what things they've had at one point.

I know where they are, but I'd have to go home to get the link.

No, most of the hard drive is full with my stuff after I did delete it... what they put on there were mostly lame games or useless programs

Most of the data it'd find would be mine, and, uh, I really don't want it back

Programs like that never seem to work for me. There were some files that I deleted a long time ago that I really wish that I had kept and every program that I've used to try to recover them from my hard drive (and even a CD) never seemed to work

Those programs can only successfully recover files if they haven't been overwritten with other data. If they were deleted "a long time ago," you might as well consider them gone.

More than likely the taskbar icons haven't disappeared... try killing a process of one. It won't go away until you hover over it

They only appear in multitudes during the publishing process and all of them disappear when Movie Maker is closed.

Probably fails to close out the process upon using it for what it's needed for. MPC tends to do that as well.

I hate when some icons do that. It happens to MSN's icon whenever it crashes suddenly I go to see why my windows closed themselves and poof.

I'm surprised how well that font for the banner works.

It doesn't work all that well though; that text was typed in B&W mode in Paint. Without it, it... looks a lot funkier.

It's the one used in the Hoshi Saga. "BM Sly"

It looks like a pixel font to begin with anyway.

Yes, but unfortunately it's a TTF, which means that it generally looks like pffbbfrhfhghb.

BM Sly font here (obviously won't show up if you don't have it)

(Oops, it's BM Sly, not BT)

In other news, I finally got TinaSitter working on Vista. I had to run Command Prompt as administrator for it to register mswinsck.ocx correctly. But she's finally up and running once more, though with a strange rectangular bounding box around her. Oh well, probably a Vista thing. ._.

I needed to get her up and running so I could use her as a reference while drawing her.
