Its been back and forth that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be on XB360 or it won't be on XB360. I'd just wish that someone will come forward with a straight answer already. Good 'ol OXM won't let the rumor of it being on the XB360 die: link. If the Ps3 loses this title and FF13, then they might have to start doing something drastic. I mean, I really want MGS4, but if I can get it on the 360, with all the achievement goodness, then I will. I'd rather get it for a system that I already have, then dish out the money for one that I don't.

Don't worry, it will come to Xbox360 whether it is released later in time or on release. Kojima knows that he is losing money on the PS3, and he is not ready to let that happen. He's going to go multi-console with it, it's what any normal person would do. Thing is, Sony (from what I heard) is known to pay off people to keep games on it's console (something like this happened with some capcom game I think).

And Square has already spoke that they wouldn't release FFwhatever on PS3 if Sony didn't lower the price in Japan and what happened? Sony JUMPED on it and days later dropped the price in Japan. Even then though, Square's exact words were that it just clearly "isn't enough".

MGS1 was updated and released for the Gamecube, was it not? MGS2 was updated (with a stupid skateboarding game) and released for the PS2 again and Xbox, was it not?

Even though MGS3 wasn't released for anything else other than PS2, I'm pretty sure MGS4 will be released onto Xbox 360. Kojima has always made surprises of many types, like Raiden/Jack and Rose, for example. Not a good surprise, but one nonetheless.

MGS1 and MGS2 also had PC editions in the US and Europe (not Japan), but their production runs were quite small. Nearly impossible to find anymore.

I used to have the PC MGS1... it was awesome. It had an FPS mode which actually functioned about as well as Doom.

Pretty much my opinion, if it does come to the 360, it'll be much later. And the PS3 controller will change to an Xbox 360 one.

I sorta... doubt... that it'll end up coming out on the wii. A Metal Gear Game, yes, but I don't think MGS4 will make it to the wii. I just don't think that too many people would buy it, because everybody's so gawdamn concerned with the graphics being omega hax good looking.
