I first joined back in... 2004 was it? I don't know the exact date, but I remember writing KvSG while sitting in homeroom my freshman year in high school.

I first started lurking the board in 2005 toward the end of incarnation 2. I don't think I signed up though until Incarnation 3 and I think I only posted like 3 times and those posts were probably all retarded. I didn't actually start posting until board II and I've made more posts on this place then all of the others combined.

Truth be told, I was never the most active member of the Acmlm's community. I joined in Marc of 2005 by reference of a friend, and I initially came to expand my extremely limited stint where I held a mild interest in Pokémon ROM hacking. While that would end quickly, my stay here wouldn't; instead, I continued to lurk, make the occasional comment, and remain fascinated by all of the fantastic ROM hacking efforts made by several talented members of the community. It seemed like nobody knew any bounds--it was crazy!

I came in thinking I was Mr. Big-shot hacker, and it only helped prove how ignorant I was. I'm glad to have had that experience. While this community isn't quite as centered around ROM hacking anymore, it's still nice to pop in every so often to say hello and enjoy the company.

So happy birthday, Acmlm's Board! While you're gone in name, you'll always be here in spirit.
