No one had found any way out yet, but with only a few squares left, the four knew there weren't too many more places it could hide...

Kattwah walked past a large green pipe sticking out of the floor when, suddenly, a fireball hit him from behind. He took 4 damage from the blast...

Turning around, he saw a large Piranha Plant growing from the pipe he just passed. It looked ready to loose another fireball...

William annoyedly strode over to square 6, where he noticed a shadow being cast on the square.

Darkdata found a shiny green Frog Coin!

Sukasa also noticed a shadow on his square...

It's a Piranha Plant! The classic hindrance packed a little punch, but the four adventurers seemed to have things under control...

Darkdata sent a volley of Ice at the plant, but it only did a single point of damage...

Kattwah launched a Superstrike at it, hammering the plant for 9 damage. It still hadn't withered, though...

Both Sukasa and William's squares contained ? Blocks floating overhead...unfortunately, they each contained only single coins.


The Piranha Plant reached down and bit Kattwah, doing 5 damage to him!

Sukasa moved up to square five, figuring that Kattwah's attack would likely kill the Plant, and tossing a mushroom to Kattwah as well.

Still attempting to take down the Piranha Plant, the four fight to keep themselves from being knocked out...

Kattwah's strike only made a glancing blow to the Plant, doing 5 damage.

Sukasa's Mushroom healed Kattwah for 10 HP, and the square he examined contained 10 coins.

Darkdata's Ice attack was worthless for damage, doing a single point, but it's the little things that matter: the plant became rigidly frozen in place by the blast!

William bumped into another Kuppa, which rammed him for 3 damage.

OOC: I made a mistake copying down William's stats back at the start of the Tower, so I'm going to correct it now...unfortunately that means that he loses 2 points of M.Defense. Sorry...

With the Piranha Plant frozen, at least one threat was mitigated...

William's attack on the Kuppa did 3 damage.

Darkdata continued to blast the Plant with ice, doing 1 more point of damage.

Sukasa's Fireball did 4 damage to the Kuppa.

Kattwah, stepping up to smack the Plant, shattered it with 3 damage. 144 SP and 14 coins scattered from the shards, with Kattwah and Darkdata sharing them between themselves...
