I haven't had that happen too much but I remember once drinking a sprite thinking it was a pepsi and it tasted like pepsi to me until I checked the can. It was dark so I didn't notice.

Certain combinations of ketchuppy food and Pepsi have an odd watermelon aftertaste (real watermelon, not that sickly-sweet abomination of a flavor found in gum and candy). I noticed this quite frequently when eating at Wendy's years ago.

Well not all the tiiiiiiiiiiiime....natto is a fermented soybean paste that smells simillar to a strong cheese, but it tastes 110% different than the smell and thats only the pure natto paste, when cooked/with other food you do not smell it. And I will say it tastes so delicious T^T

Sounds like my 'egg revolt' problem. Hate eggs straight but if you mix it with something I generally don't notice.
