Hey, I used to live in a place where, at worst, it'd be -40 for the wind chill. I understand 'brr fuckin' cold'.

Now I'm getting used to people saying it's cold in temperatures under +40 F. 50 even.

I have no idea what temperature it is outside. Maybe I should check.

*Giga looks up a weather site

Huh, it's negative ten degrees. The wind is negative sixteen. And it's gonna snow for the next few days.

No, I disagree. When it's winter, things gets cold, whereas spring is mild and comfortable.

Man, fuck cold winters.
Spring is where it's at. Winter is just bleak, boring and ugly. I always end up completely drained of motivation during this season.
And then the trees start to come into bloom with cherry and apple blossoms and stuff, the weather becomes bearable (Rain over snow anyday), and it's all good.

Wind chill advisory remains in effect from 10 pm this evening to 9 am est Wednesday,
A wind chill advisory remains in effect from 10 pm this evening to 9 am est Wednesday.
The coldest airmass so far this winter season will spread southward across mainland south Florida tonight. Temperatures are expected to fall into the 30s over much of interior south florida and the palm beach metro areas, and around 40 in coastal collier county. When coupled with northerly winds in the 5 to 10 mph range, these temperatures will result in wind chill values between 25 and 35 degrees for several consecutive hours over most of mainland south Florida from late this evening until a few hours after sunrise tomorrow. The only exception will be across far south miami-dade county where low temperatures will not get cool enough to meet advisory criteria, but will likely drop into the 30s for at least a short time.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and gloves.

Crap it's gonna be cold tonight!

It's suppose to get down to 36 tonight where I am at and I think that's without the wind chill being a factor.

We'll see just how cold it'll get.

I might have to head outside tonight.

And yes, 30 degrees here, yea, that's cold. Maybe not so out of place for mid/northern/western Florida, but it is here.

The temperature's not bad here, it's just the goddamned clouds.
Went sledding a few days ago, clear blue skies up the mountain...

Despite it being somewhat cold outside, I still wear flip-flops/sandals. Oh wait, it's 71 out right now.... Regardless, I tend to always wear sandals no matter what the weather.

Yeah, it's going to get down to 29 tonight, which is uh I think a first in my area for this month, maybe even this winter.

A little while ago I was walking around in 54-degree weather wearing only shorts and a t-shirt and it wasn't so bad. But the wind! The wind!

22 °F / -6 °C
Overcast

We just have an "air stagnation advisory"... but that's been there since last week (if not longer) and it doesn't seem to have had any impact whatsoever
