Lily was quite upset at the fact that she got bitten, but was unable to retaliate as the rat had already disappeared. There was a scowl on her face up until the point where everyone stepped into the next room. Lily: More opportunities for treasure! Oh, I hope I can find something that can help train abilities faster. Or maybe a huuuge pile of coins. Or.. whoa. Is that a pit? Hm.. This could be potentially dangerous if there're some mean things sitting around and waiting for something to bite. Lily started walking towards square 13. Lily: I think I'll play it safe for right now. ____________________

›› 9t: I kinda figured but I just figured I may as well throw that out there as an 'unknown'. Fate looked around. They had seemed to progress a little bit, but looking around it showed an area with a mostly broken floor. Given the fact that the flooring didn't seem to lead to anything on the first floor (she would've seen holes in the ceiling) it was safe to assume that the tower wasn't built to be squarely inclined. You know, the kind that an elevator would be perfect for? ... She also had no idea why she was thinking about that. Chalk that up to random thoughts at a time like this. Regardless, those were some big holes. She had a feeling that falling in one might be irreversible, so she stayed towards the middle and took tile 17. EDIT: Changed thread title appropriately. Missed out on the fact we're on 2F now. ____________________

Lily immediately headed to the center of the floor, where she finds 10 coins waiting for her. Fate followed Lily onto the floor and searched a square, finding a round, heavy item. It was an unlit Bomb, which she picked up. Eppy took a leap of faith and landed safely on a square in the corner of the room, where he found a DizzyDial. Using this item on an enemy will cause it to become confused and attack its fellow enemies. ›› I figured you'd BURN the rope. Fate noticed that she was getting a knack for finding these odd things around the castle more than anyone else. She wondered if there was going to be a limit to her encumbrance if this kept up. With all the two destructive items she did have, she wondered if there would be a way to blow the tower sky-high. Once more, the four cautiously looked for a way up the Tower... Lily again took initiative in giving X a Braveheart boost... ...which he promptly takes advantage of to smash the Rope, doing a sizable 9 damage and leaving it lifeless on the floor. It seemingly faded away into 60 SP and 6 coins, which gave X an easy level-up... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ X - Level Up HP increased by 2! Attack increased by 1! Defense increased by 1! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fate-chan found a strange design on the square she stepped on: for some reason, the tile here had the image of a star drawn on it. It was colored a very dark shade of gray. Stepping on it had no effect. Eppy, expecting to find treasure, found only a large rat holding a bomb... a Bombchu. Fate looked at the tile intently. She didn't really have an idea of what this tile was meant for or if it was some odd interior decoration. She figured it was used for something, but the likelihood was that something activated it that she hadn't yet found. It didn't seem like anyone had found anything to go to it that seemed useful so she figured searching another tile may prove a better option. Shrugging her shoulders, she chose tile (9). ____________________

Lily chuckled as she watched Eppy retaliating. Lily: Looks like the little guy was making a trade. Lily scratched one of her cheeks as she glanced at X. Lily: Looks like I need to get into some scuffles. It's much more lucrative than just wandering around, hoping to find a random gold coin around here. She pulled a bit on her oversized gauntlets and nodded. She then made a dash for squa-- Lily: Oh come on. You didn't just take the strongest square here. She stood by Fate, glaring at the young girl. She then closed her eyes and weakly waved her right hand. Lily: Well, whatever, I'm sure there's nothing of use there, like a frozen frog or something. Still searching for a way up, the four continue to look around... Eppy, angry, sends an electric blast at the Bombchu for 3 damage. It's still not dead though... Tile ⑨ might not have been the smartest choice for Fate...another Bombchu sat on the square. It lobbed the bomb it was carrying at Fate-chan, doing 5 damage! Lily at least found something that wasn't trying to kill her: a Yellow Coin (10c + 1HP). X, in a stroke of luck, also found a Yellow Coin. Lily: Hm.. Not bad.. Would've been useful if I was attacked first-- Lily flinched the moment she heard an explosion going off behind her. Lily: Geeze! What are-- She slowly turned around only to flinch again as she watched another explosion go off. Lily: Whoa! Lily tried to focus on Fate and then onto Eppy. Eppy seemed as if he could stand up to a few more hits. Fate, on the other hand, did not. Lily: As party leader, I refuse to allow such destruction on my party members! She lunged towards Fate. Lily: Doriya~! Flash Kick! Lily performed a back flip when she was right behind the Bombchu that had attacked Fate. [Slightly earlier...] Fate wondered why Lily was giving her odd looks. Every time that she was given those, she couldn't help but get a case of the shivers...as if she had done something wrong when all she had done was... Fate sniffed. Something burning. She turned on her heels to see the lit wick of a bomb almost completely burnt and a rat of some sort...smirking? Fate: Wait, smir--- BOOOMMM!! A small mushroom cloud, a skid and a yelp later, Fate was on the ground tasting pavement. Her mind was reeling after that. Damn Lily and her creepy glare. Damn rat and it's creepy smirking and--- THWAAACKK!! That sounded like it came from in front of her. Lily. It also looked like that was an attack that connected with what was currently making her feel a lot of pain. She blinked. Fate: Li...ly? Fate coughed once to get the rest of the smoke dust out of her and then concentrated to get the job done. She moved to one side of Lily, generating a sphere of light energy as she went and... Fate: PHOTON LANCER...FIRE! It was weak...and didn't help that she didn't have Bardiche on hand, but it was enough to send a THUNDER-based attack at the poor rat that dared bomb her in the first place. She winced a little afterwards, carrying herself, breathing hard, noting that she might need to see what all just hit her in a second... ›› I have the feeling we're going to be really heavy on thunder usage (I have no choice here if I go directly by character). ____________________
